Guest guest
Hi Chrism, I was just wondering today what is the purpose of the chakra breathing exercise and how often should one do it? Just during Shaktipat or should you do it other times as well, maybe once a week or what? Also how often should one do the other breathing exercises? It has really sucked not doing any breathing exercise for so long. It has affectd my ability to meditate. I have been doing some breathing exercise to get into the meditative state for 10 years or more. My physical body is falling apart and all out of wack. I feel like it is back being on the acid side again, what with everything and drinking that Smartwater, thinking it was a good water to drink. Not smart water at all! I had to eat some crap food on both trips in May which didn't help. I woke up this morning with my mouth all white like I have been on antiboitics, but I have not. I have had a bad taste in my mouth all day and can't get it to go away. Any suggestings anyone? The switching off and on thing in my brain didn't stop after all. I guess is just slowed down while I was sick or I was just to sick to pay it any mind. I am really use to it now, after a whole year of it.. kind of like getting use to the ringing in the ears. Usually when scatterfield begans I am filled with lots of energy and can gets lot of things done. It has not been so with me today. I have the lots of desire to things, but just seem to. Other than some lagging sinus congestion and the god awful taste in my mouth, I feel I am over the sickness, but just haven't gain my stamina back. I have been sleeping a lot and deeply..10 hours last night/this morning. It feel strange to be sleeping so much. It is so hot outside and it isn't even summer yet, I cannot tolerate it over 5 minutes or so. I have to wait until dark to go for a walk. I think I am going to have to wait until fall to finish the sacred place project. I think I need to move up north, it was hot to me all winter here! Whoever suggested putting an ear plug in my nose, I am really getting tempted to do so. hehe! I liked it when I got warm and toasty off and on, but this is getting on the ridiculous side. I am feeling like a vampire, only being able to tolerate the night. I need to get a light for my lawnmower. I hope this doesn't sound like complaints(I know things could be way worse), it is not that.. just letting you know what is happening with me and if anything can be done to help or it's just something I have to tough out and go through. I am tough and determined and can take a lot, btw. Blessings & love, Linda
Guest guest
Chakra breathing is as a stimulus fo the chakra and a method of intent. It has to do with prana and its bursting or gifti ng through tha action of the breath into that area. Should not be done everyday as you were doing which is why it was suggested that it not be done for a time. For the Shaktipat it can be done for the seven days of the gifting. Lethargy is not uncommon with the Kundalini as it transforms the bodies. This you may wish to find a way of adapting to as it isnt permanent and does have a purpose. - blessings Linda. - chrism
Guest guest
Thanks for the reply, but you didn't answer how often normally should they be done and also how often the other breathing exercises you have given be done? I am not doing any of the breathing exercises right and can't actually with this congestion. I truly did not know that the chakra breathing isn't to be done everyday. I think I did asked about that back when I first started doing them.. it seemed like a lot to be doing. It was a struggled to fit everything in my practice back then. When I didn't get a reply back then I just figured it was a stupid question and did not ask about it again. I did do the chakra breathing mostly at night before going to bed. I read recently there isn't as much prana in the air during the night hours and I go to bed late most night, so I probably was not getting so much. My intent while doing them was for balance. So I was doing them wrong all around. Blessings & love, Linda - In , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Chakra breathing is as a stimulus fo the chakra and a method of intent. Guest guest
No worries dear Linda! There is no set frequency for chakra breathing except during Shaktipat. For the other breathings every time one does the five Tibetans the after practice will have the alternate nostril breath balances. The compression prayer can be added to that. Not chakra breathing though. - chrism , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > Thanks for the reply, but you didn't answer how often normally should they be done and also how often the other breathing exercises you have given be done? Guest guest
Me too, I have been working hard on keeping my body on the alkaline side by cutting way down on meats and adding more veges and fruits and drinking alkaline water, but the eating on the trips in May and drinking the smartwater caused me to get to acid, I think. I still eat watermelon for breakfast most days, it is my favorite meal. I will get my body back on the alkaline side eventually..it definitely makes you feel better and have a lots more energy. I am feeling better, thanks for the well wishes. blessings, Linda , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > I'm in the middle of alkalining my life, try 6 weeks only eating raw foods and a little cooked protein. If u like coffee cut it out for now and you can reintroduce later if you really cant live without.I choose my mineral water with a high calcium content and check the ph value on it.Watermelon watermelon watermelon :-))I felt awful at first as floods of toxins whooshed out, but now I'm feeling better.
