Guest guest
" Heads up " people. Hang onta ur hats! I was checking out info on the ancient Serpent Mound in southern Ohio. I recall visiting there as a child, planning a stop on my next trip through the area. The Ohio Historical Society webpage says... " The head of the serpent is aligned to the summer solstice sunset and the coils also may point to the winter solstice sunrise and the equinox sunrise. " Visitor information here: http://ohsweb.ohiohistory.org/places/sw16/index.shtml Photos here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpent_Mound Namasté ~Delia " As below, so above; and as above so below. With this knowledge alone you may work miracles. And since all things exist in and emanate from the ONE Who is the ultimate Cause, so all things are born after their kind from this ONE. Guest guest
This is to me a shamanic Kundalini serpent. Notice the five coils representing the five human expressions and the spiral into infinity at the tail representing the divine seed. Then the two little markers at either side of the head indicating an Ida and Pingala as well as the obvious fontanel. - Just me I suppose. - lol! Thanks Delia! - chrism , " idelos " <gypsy.eire wrote: > > > " The head of the serpent is aligned to the summer solstice sunset and the coils also may point to the winter solstice sunrise and the equinox sunrise. Guest guest
It looks like a very creative way of writing their knowledge of kundalini into their burial ground.
