Guest guest
thanks for your shares about talking with others about kundalini. i guess its discernment and motive for me. i think about if i hadn't had two AA sponsors over a decade ago that shared their experiences with kundalini at a time I was teaching yoga but didn't know what they were talking about i would have possibly had a harder time. in those years i went to a yoga retreat and a teacher did an adjustment where he gyrated my thighs by extended my thighs away from my pelvis & rotating them and making more space in the hip sockets so I could sit in padmasana. a few hours later, i felt like i had taken 30 hits of speed and couldn't talk to anyone. this lasted three days and i came down by taking long walks in nature and eating meat. i wasn't scared because i had heard about such experiences. its like the AA adage of how our experiences can benefit others. i have two clients that i think have some kundalini activation but i haven't called it such as it seems like the context they are seeing it in works for them. after my sponsors, i met two men in town that talked nonstop about it. one was forever trying to straighten his spine and having medical science take xrays to prove it was straightening and was teaching others about it. the other was focused always on how difficult a process he was having in it. Both were stuck in an ego place with it. interesting thinking about them all now. I had a moment of road rage this morning and immediately went to forgiveness. it seems harder for me to forgive myself for flare-ups of anger than the person who provoked it. interesting. just for the record, the tick didn't burrow in my arm, it was just crawling. The bird gently pecked my arm but didn't break the skin. it was just a friendly reminder that she had babies she didn't want endangered. i love all the critters. love and blessings, Jan
Guest guest
Hi Jan, Guess you were getting some critter love, they saw your light and paid their respects! Thats so cool how you've met people in everyday life talking about kundalini! I love knowing that you are/were a yoga teacher!!! And I wonder if yoga teachers around the world know of the kundalini? And the teacher that did the adjustment did he realize what happened? I love hearing these stories because it shows the many varied ways the kundalini can come. So thank you for this. And I know what you mean about it being harder on oneself than others. I use to wonder if people that were enlightened ever get those strong emotions and then I saw this video on Sri Ramana Mah(ok i really gotta learn to spell his name!) and one talked about where someone was giving him a really hard time and he clearly felt angry, made his point and then quickly let it go. Perhaps that is what will happen over time, feeling the emotions still without beating ourselves up about it and then being able to let it pass easier than we could before. So after I saw that video I know I sure felt alot better about myself sometimes getting down on myself. Heck if Sri Ramana can get a bit angry...I surely shouldn't feel bad about my emotions! ha Thank you Jan and may the birds and critters of this world greet you lovingly each day. Shoot was that a mosquito that just bit me? (: Deb , " Jan " <drjandean wrote: > > thanks for your shares about talking with others about kundalini.
