Guest guest
Some Preparations for Shaktipat Week For all who want to begin and end the Shaktipat at the same time does, please check the timezone map for your starting time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html Shaktipat begins Sunday, June 21st, 3am West Coast,US Time See what time that is in your timezone. Each " Day " is a 24 hour period. Example: If 3 am Pacific Time is 8 pm where you are then Shaktipat Day One begins at 8pm for you, and goes until 8pm the next day. Day two starts then and goes to 8pm the next day, etc. * * * For our new members who will be participating in the upcoming Shaktipat beginning Sunday, we will be doing chakra breathing as we move through the chakra system. If you'd like to review what that is you'll find it here: *Chakra Breathing* Breathe into the areas where you know the chakras are. Base of the spine, the navel or slightly below, the solar plexus, the heart, the throat, " stay away " from between the eyebrows and the top of the head with this technique. (Severe headaches can come) Touch the area or lightly pinch it and using that lasting sensation, breathe into that point. As you breathe feel the air come and go from your nasal and throat areas and consciously transfer or double the sensation to where you have touched or pinched the skin. This should feel as if you are breathing from the point you have selected. It is best to start from the base of the spine to the throat. Bottom to top. Do not over do this and do not spend too much time in one area. If you are going just for the opening or energizing of a chakra this is effective but the Kundalini can burst through if you are too persistent. Be absolutely certain you are prepared for this. - Also articles about each chakra for each day of Shaktipat will be posted and can also be found in The Seven Chakras File. Not mandatory reading, just for your enjoyment. Instructions for each day's practice will be posted daily. No need to wonder. Also, the whole weeks instructions will also be posted the night before Shaktipat begins, Saturday, for those who will be away from the computer for the week or who just like to know ahead of time to plan accordingly. Please post any questions. Smoothing out the bumps now may allow for a more focused and sacred week! Love, dhyana

Guest guest
I believe (hopefully Im not wrong) that its Pacific Standard Time, so go into the Time Zone tab and change it to that. It works out that 3am is actually 10am for GMT, although if youre in england Im not sure if thats give or take an hour for daylight saving etc.
Guest guest
http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/ This page gives all the time abbreviations and the time differences to UTC which is the same as GMT. I think this would be helpful. West Coast, USA is PST zone. Going by this chart, GMT it is a minus of 8 hours difference or 7 hours depending on Daylight Savings time. Guest guest
Dear Amit! I am from Pakistan and we have difference of Half an Hour. (Now a days we are abserving summer day light saving time so Its GMT+6 Here) But dont we have 22nd of June for the first day of shaktipat. Because Pacific Time is 12 hours 30 mins behind of yours times. So when they'll have the 3:00 AM of 21st June then it should be 3:30 PM of 22nd June at your side and 5:00 PM at my Side!!!
