Guest guest
This question is ONLY directed to people whom have experienced this. I am not trying to be rude, just to the point. I really don't want any perspectives or theories. No spiritual hoo ha. I want to know what the process of the final ego death feels like. Did the former you cease to exist but you remained aware but in a different state of mind? Is it like you physically died and you as you knew yourself is simply dead? I know the ego is the essence of all that I am and it must go, if not in this lifetime, for sure when I die. But before I sacrifice myself, I would like to understand what happens. What is the process. Do I as I am vanish and God simply, separately, takes my body? I know this sounds crazy but this is a serious question. I would like to know the process. I am in fear because I want to know if I need to say my goodbyes. I know this fear is my ego. It is me. It is all that I am. It is natural to fear when I will die and cease to exist. The stages of death are upon me. Do you disappear or does that annoying little voice just finally stop talking and you merge? Do you retain your memories? Do your loved ones recognize you? What does it physically feel like. Does the veil get lifted? What are the sensations? Thanks for any replies. -Tiffany
Guest guest
I apologize for my email. I was coming from a place of deep seated fear. I read your articles on the subject Chrism, and it helped me to understand. I felt this way because I read something very fear mongering. It jarred me and kinda freaked me out. After a little bit of discernment I came to a balance. SO I apologize to everyone for coming off so rash. I'm sure you all have been here! Love! Guest guest
Yeah that's how I always felt it to be. I mean, per my experience I have had so many dissolvements on issues from my past. Almost as being washed away. I take that as how it will be as I continue. I am still here, just a better, evolving version of me. I really should watch what crap I read, but what can ya do? LOL Thanks. -Tiffany - novalees Saturday, June 20, 2009 4:54 PM Re: Can someone please explain egoic death The greatest AHA! Moment. Some even laugh at how silly the ego thingie is. Guest guest
Tiffany, All, A reminder. Please, as we are nearing the first true day of the Shaktipat the energy is already increasing so do be cautious of what you read, view, and your interactions with those around you. As cautions all things can and are magnified many fold so try to refrain from introducing unnecessary elevations of what might be classed as less Light emotions, i.e., fear, anger, uncertainty, worry, etc., while elevating the Light emotions, Love, compassion, empathy, etc. Surrender, relax, and allow it to be. Peace, Love, and Grace be with us during the Shaktipat. Brother Asa On Behalf Of Tiffany 06/20/2009 5:04 PM Re: Re: Can someone please explain egoic death Yeah that's how I always felt it to be. Guest guest
LOL no. I had someone send a link on the K list. I totally didn't expect it. I don't watch certain things anymore because yeah, its true you will become the unwitting star! It was very negative. I read it because someone linked it there so I thought it something to check out and it therefore created an existential crisis for a moment. It basically stated that we dont exist, God is seperate and we are worthless. The Ego is us and when it dies, we die. We mean nothing. I do think it served a purpose though. Shakti has a tendency to pull my fears out to me so I can overcome them. Fear of non-existence is a big one. A primal one at that. I must admit, she was quite sneaky about bringing that to light =) I passed it though and have no more fear. That was the worst of it. I apologize if I brought out any negative feelings with my postings. I am not involved in the Shaktipat and perhaps ignorance was at fault for that. I simply just wanted guidance in an emergency of sorts. Funny thing is every time I post, I get my answer 5 minutes later. LOL! So I will be careful of what I post for the time being. -Tiffany My humblest apologies!!!! (PS) thank you flowerpowers for your responses. I do live in the US and I find it quite amazing the similarity of our experiences. Perhaps I will see you in the void! =) , " idelos " <gypsy.eire wrote: > > Tiffany, > > I thought perhaps you watched Invasion of the Body Snatchers, or that Twilight Zone episode, " To Serve Man " ... > > " Ms. Angelikdementia! Guest guest
Tiffany, No need to apologize or feel guilty, these situations are merely part of the process that everyone shares... there's nothing wrong with asking questions as they arise, regardless of the impetus. Reaching out for comfort from those you trust is an excellent response to an ego situation, as i see it... then laugh when you recognize what's happening : ) If you don't then someone else is sure to berate you severely, LOL! I was really disappointed that you apologized before we could gang up on you, girl. Really, being gentle with yourself in the aftermath is the antithesis to the self-blame indulgence the ego wants too. Only another test... and I know what you mean about Shakti sneaking in those tests... like, hey, want to pet my tiger...? afterward, i just say, oh no, you di'int! LOL RE the negative teachings out there, well there are other schools of thought that don't bash you over the head with ego-death scare tactics, such as Buddhism or ACIM. Guest guest
Tiff, No not negative feelings, concern but nothing negative. As for any concerns with non-existence. We each have to come to grips with that which was in the forecourt of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, Gnothi Seauton-Know Thyself. Upon coming into a knowing of what that entails then there is no longer a fear of non-existence. Peace, Love, and Blessings be with you. Guest guest
Ego ! What a beautiful mystery ? My posts till date have mostly featured on the physical aspects of Kundalini. Thanks for bringing up this as the current state of my mind is true to answer this. With the inception of Kundalini, the mind senses an active energy in the brain. So, when one starts meditating while in K - there are two activities that go on simultaneously One is the normal egoic mind/brain thoughts and thinking and the other is the K activity that goes on with its work. Soon while meditating it so happens that you notice with K running as a frame of reference, there is the mind also running. Without K, it is like you are in a train that is moving with shock absorbers and windows closed. You might not know that you are moving along with the train and travelling.( realise that there is egoic thougths) and hence might not know where you reach. However, with K what happens is that - the window opens up and what you see is another train(K train) running parallely and independently. The speed of this K train is faster than yours and it is beautiful. Hence while meditating now, you start observing the other train and forget about the train that you are in.( end of egoic thoughts) Magically, when you start observing this K train - you actually start to travel at the humongous beautiful speeds of this train. Then there is no notion of my train. Because even though you are travelling in one train, you start observing the other train only as it is beautiful. Once you are completely in this K train ( ego death and you dont identify yourself with the normal train or thoughts) and just become an observer, then the second magic happens. The K train now takes a diversion and finally reaches the destination where you realise that you were the driver in both the trains, you are in the source of travel and in the destination of travel - everywhere. Then the observation stops, there is no journey. If you are the source and the destination where is the journey? It is all a mystery well guarded ! What a mystery ! What a magic ! ~Skoogle ________________________________ gypsyeyes_101 <gypsyeyes_101 Sunday, 21 June, 2009 9:42:22 AM Re: Can someone please explain egoic death >The greatest AHA! Moment.
