Guest guest
this video has helped me come to terms with and understand why it seems like the pain is worse since I started on the spiritual path. I'm posting this because I think it goes really well with what talks about how it's not all fluffy bunnies, even though I don't think he's speaking from a kundalini standpoint, but who knows... But anyways I deeply resonate with this and wanted to share it. I think of what he talks about as the yin and yang of waking up. Please correct me if it's not what you mean by walking the middle path. love craig
Guest guest
Ken Wilber has his own way and language of explaining the questions he is presented with. For some reason I have not had an attraction to any of his books or videos. Even his early works. I have tried and they just do not resonate for me. So for me there is no comment to make Criag. I respect him and those who are attracted to what he writes. I do know that there are many people who gravitate to his writings and teachings and this is good for him. We have members here who are very much fans of his perspectives and find them very helpful so in that context he is helpful to them. And this is the case for you Craig. - blessings to you! - chrism , " kundaflame " <kundaflame wrote: > > this video has helped me come to terms with and understand why it seems like the pain is worse since I started on the spiritual path. Guest guest
Wow, great!! I have rarely heard or read anyone/anything dealing with this duality so well. He hit the nail on the head! Chrisim, I too have not been drawn to his work….well its more complicated than that. I have been drawn to his books, bought them and then not read them, or read a few pages and stopped. I have never read any more than a page or two of his work. But this video clip is really good. rich
Guest guest
Hey Craig, thanks for this, I dont remember hearing this before, and as always love his clarity. When Wilber spoke about the Christ archetype and the intersection of the human and the divine, i had a strong emotional response which so clearly indicated I am far more aligned to the Christ figure than the Budhha, respecting both deeply... I am feeling more and more of what he talks about..especially being in front of a group of people and feeling each ones level of suffering...was feeling that today in my classes...and increasingly compelled to shine a light on the root causes of suffering when I see it... and feeling 'the passion' .. was clear in my mind today, having clear revelations that I am to be used to help change this world for the better..and feeling aligned with that mission.. love Bruce , " kundaflame " <kundaflame wrote: > > this video has helped me come to terms with and understand why it seems like the pain is worse since I started on the spiritual path. Guest guest
Thanks for posting this Craig. I like middle ground myself and am trying to toggle them both. It's something I've been banging my head up against a wall with for some time. Like he said a paradox. Last week I was in a comtemplative mode as well, as most days. It's been rather " enlightening " the thoughts. These thoughts that have come and gone and things I " know " intellectually but have really hit me more last week with more comprehension and also indecision. Such thoughts are of manifesting a positive outcome and surrendering. Where's the fine line? Is there really a line? Or is it simply a stepping stone. Is manifesting simply something some of those who start small and wake up do and then eventually they get out of it entirely and let go of it completely and only surrender. It feels surrender is the only. But then again, I know that being in a state of optimism is that vibration that automatically brings that which is of the matching vibration and only that which that is divinely in our plan. Is ego at play whenever we use manifestation or can it be neutrally used and surrendered to? Do I not have a positive outcome for my car when something happens to it? This is an example that happened two weeks ago. Instead of my usual 'visualize-the-outcome', see it, feel it, be it; I was in a neutral state of being and not only knew it would work out but almost didn't mind or didn't care. Suddenly I was provided two options to correct the situation that I had to contemplate and ended up taking both options. Is it better to only wait and see and simply be in optimism or neutrality or bliss. Or add a little spit fire of positive visualization as an outcome and then simply surrender after visualization? This week I am leaning towards the latter of spit fire and surrender to the highest good. Any takers on this one? Guest guest
Hi again, This is a hot topic for me. Right now this is where I'm at with what I have written below. Writing is my way of processing. In regards to the two sides of the coin, I feel both are right and need to be integrated for the balanced middle path. Finding middle ground between the two seems key. On the one hand we have the masculine Buddha and the ultimate peace and end to all suffering. On the other hand we have Kwan Yin the kind compassionate and giving feminine who feels for humanity and gives of herself in ultimate Divine Service. They are aspects of both Shiva and Shakti. They are all aspects of the Divine. They are both the One God. The All That Is. It is time to integrate both halves of the hole. This is where my path is right now at this moment. Each of us will go where we feel is right. Of course we know, this may change over time with life experience and as the Kundalini works its way through us. I honor both sides from wherever we are. I honor your path no matter where you are too. It is all Divine.
