Last night in Spain it was the celebration of San Juan, (St John) which means everyone (and it certainly seemed like everyone) goes to the beach for the strike of midnight. So all evening there are parties and bonfires on every beach along the coast. And at midnight, the crowds walk into the sea backwards throw a flower over our shoulder and make a wish and for those of us who didnt carry on swimming, walk forward out of the water to wash away the bad energies of the last 12 months and take on the new. Then we all jump over a fire (or group of candles) 7 times. For cleansing. It was great fun, and I really enjoyed just laying on the beach, slightly removed from everyone and just watching the kids and all the families up to the grandparents taking part. We dont know many people here, so we didnt have a group to sit with and usually I would feel grumpy and left out, but last night I just enjoyed being there, it was so lovely, I am feeling a greater sence of peace and far less angry than I usually am. For me this experience of Kundalini is more of a growing into myself than a great whoosh of energy. I think I have had that all in the past over the years as I have been developing (I have done the anger thing , big time! and the pain, particularly in my lower regions) and now, I feel more grounded and calmer. Not like me at all. Does anyone else have this feeling? Oh and the animals wont leave me alone! For me this journey is taking me where I now realise I have always wanted to go and the last few months I feel like I am right on track. After 46 years! Its about bloddy time lol.
