Guest guest
What you said reminded me of something that happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was out walking after a thrunderstorm was over and I looked up and there was this most beautiful cloud formation I have ever seen. I was so overcome with it's beauty I walk out into the road without looking and almost got ran over by a car (they stoppped and was looking at what I was looking at) and then as I was going on over to get out of the road a man on a bicycle almost ran over me from that side. I didn't see him. The whole time I could hardly take my eyes off the cloud. The man just kept going fast on his bicycle and I screamed at him to stop and look at the beautiful cloud. Hehe! He just looked back at me like he thought I was crazy and kept going. He missed a very beautiful scene. I was wishing I had my camera real bad. Not just talking about the strange phenomena but just something as simple as being open to nature and watching nature be open back onto you. A simple animal not running away but coming close, a bird that seems to give you messages or landing so close to you and being okay with that, a bee landing on the fingers and just crawling around without stinging, the metaphors in everyday life, the spider and its web...so many little miracles. Last year when I was taking a night drive in the summer I drove by my forest and this huge meadow. And there before my eyes were thousands upon thousands of fireflies just dancing and lighting up this meadow! It was the most spectacular light show I've ever seen! I got out of my car and stayed there and watched and watched and people would drive by and look at me in the middle of the night on the side of the road and I'd point to the meadow and they'd turn and look but keep going. I couldn't believe it! Well maybe they thought I was some crazy nut...okay maybe I am, but still! ha > Thank you for these posts...It seems the more you believe in that that is considered unprobable the more probable it becomes in ones life. Guest guest
Hahaha Linda, So you too have gotten that " Are you crazy or what? " looks! And life is so much more meaningful to appreciate these little things - so really are we the crazy ones? hahaha Well if we are we are in good company! And Linda, do please try not to be in awe in the middle of a fast moving street - or in front of fast moving bikes - you know you're kinda loved around here - and I'm very selfish! (: Not to mention - OUCH! Deb , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: >
Guest guest
Just the thing that happens when u look at a tree in full bloom, a drop of water hanging by the edge of the leaf, a flower swinging in the wind. The most beautiful of things and the most ignored by a mind so much engrossed in useless things like taxes, bills and other inconsequential things.
