Guest guest
Hi all, Is it possible to meditate while lying in bed? I find this is the most comfortable position, as opposed to the traditional seated pose, which starts to hurt my back after a short period. Thanks, Bill
Guest guest
This is how I usually meditate. If I fall asleep I tend to go into an OBE vibrational state. I am not one for sitting in the lotus position so I guess I am a bit of a rebel =) I do sometimes, but my spine feels much better if I lay with a pillow under my knees. Keeps my back nice and straight. I have a very slight case of scoliosis so it relieves the pressure. I have had no problems with this. I just do things my own way **shrug** I have had many sensational meditations by doing this. -Tiffany S. , " astronutski " <astronutski wrote: > > Hi all, > > Is it possible to meditate while lying in bed? Guest guest
I meditite on my back usually too.. I seem to relax and concentrate more. I do the alternate breathing in the lotus and then usually I end up lying down after a while. something happened just now that's interesting.. I was doing the goddess prayer and I was feeling a lot of energies, light, all over the body, feet hands, head. kind of twitches and tingles and a few light surges and I was just relaxing and feeling. then the tip of my nose started whirring, it had done this saturday too, all of a sudden it starts this bubbly vibrating feeling. but then today the whirring whent upwards a bit and then the whole bridge of the nose all the way up between the eyes started hurting a lot, a very precise pointed pain, but not unberable. whent up and down there a bit, and spread out, but mainy was along the length of it. it lasted a long time, and eventually stopped when I stood up. it's still feeling a bit whirry. the throat area is still tightening off and on, but it's much better today, I can breathe easyer (it felt like I was suffocating). tonight I dreamt I was spitting and vomiting this black fowel tasting substance, that was not from my stomach, but from my mouth/throat. I had a big let go yesterday, and finally spoke up my true intentions to my music teacher, it's been a major problem for over two years now, I have extreme difficulty communicating with him. thanks chrism, lucia > > > > Hi all, > > > > Is it possible to meditate while lying in bed? Guest guest
Yes I love to meditate lying down too but I had to come back and say I loved the whirling nose description! Its so funny when those odd sensations happen ... they are so odd that you KNOW its the kundalini kickin' in...I mean who gets a whirling nose...I suppose we could stick one of those child fans on the end and let it spin in the wind but the neighbors probably wouldnt invite us over anymore...and anyway this is sooooo much more fun! (: Loved reading your post - whirl away (: Deb , " lari.lu " <lari.lu wrote: >
