Guest guest
Hi everyone Before I studied yoga, I studied Chinese medicine. Sometimes, having a little chart like this one<http://www.guardiantrader.com/images/foot_reflexology_chart.jpg> helps us identify whys and how comes of pain in the feet. Strange, I tell you - but the Indian system of chakras is for me - however, the chinese pressure points help me to identify specific pains. Have a look - maybe it helps. -- Tiffany Jones Patheya
Guest guest
Very interesting on two points for me personally. A cousin of mine has had tough physical challenges that I can't write about and that chart reveals part of the problem going on for her. Secondly my left and right toes flex on their own and once I was sitting crossed legged on a chair, then when setting my left foot down I heard a very loud whistle blow the instant it made contact on the floor - now that was either the lung or ear area. Do you have a chart for the legs and the rest of the body? inside of my left and right knees two circles were drawn as I was caught in a strong argument during the K syndrome experience I was in. Also at that time circles were drawn around my left ring finger as I was on a phone interview with the employment office - talk about distraction! Thanks again,Anna Tiffany Fri, 3 Jul 2009 16:07:02 +0200 pain in the feet an chinese medicine Hi everyone Before I studied yoga, I studied Chinese medicine. Guest guest
Remember, these are just points, and in no way suppose to be as authentic as a qualified practitioner. Its just to give you a basis to become aware of it, if you are not already. The charts can get very detailed. Some of the best one's I've found - I'll put links to here. Ear - (very effective!!) <http://www.lamatriarch.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/ear-acupuncture.gif> This is quite an informative site <http://www1.pu.edu.tw/~bmon/Qigong.php>, also, for people it might resonate with. Qigong (energy work) - Chinese style. many people find their energy moves more freely after practising this with yoga or instead of. I haven't found any other simple charts. They look a bit confusing for basic reference. If anyone else knows of some? <http://www.lamatriarch.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/ear-acupuncture.gif> 2009/7/3 zinnia print <zinniaprint > > Very interesting on two points for me personally. Guest guest
Dear Tiffany, I used to be very big into reflexology... I had it done to my own feet but I used to do my childrens feet and the results were wonderful.. If nothing elce the special time togethere during the reflexology was benifitail. My youngest daughter (she is 6) has special needs and massaging her feet and particular areas assisted her health greatly as a new born and later..... Anyway I guess I don't use that contact as much these days and I was just having a rosey memory recall... thanks. Look at the chart you posted the link to and thinking about where the tingly/ biting/ fuzzy / energy feelings are in my feet ... is really interesting. Love Julia. ________________________________ Tiffany Jones <Tiffany Friday, July 3, 2009 3:07:02 PM pain in the feet an chinese medicine Hi everyone Before I studied yoga, I studied Chinese medicine. Guest guest
Hello Julia,Funnily, as I read your words, I remembered how I used to have my feet massaged when I was pregnant. It was the thing I craved the most. tingly/biting/fuzzy!! 2009/7/3 Julia Ahern <jajahern > > > Dear Tiffany, I used to be very big into reflexology... Guest guest
Hi Tiffany, Before shatipat week I had a lot of sinus congestion and the last day of shatipat I had those sharp pains shoot through my toes. I had it to happen again yesterday but only through my left toes. Going by that chart the toes are connected to the sinuses. My toes have been sore since the pain shot through and I have been just naturally massaging them. Hehe! My sinuses problem has been clearing more and more each day. Guest guest
DearLinda... I just looked at the chart of the feet again there... The pineal gland and the pituitry gland points are in the big toe. Am I right in this.. did you have a dream last week that involved a pine cone and said pine cone = pineal gland? Mmm! Love Julia. ________________________________ Linda <crazycats711 Saturday, July 4, 2009 12:42:19 AM Re: pain in the feet an chinese medicine Hi Tiffany, Before shatipat week I had a lot of sinus congestion and the last day of shatipat I had those sharp pains shoot through my toes. Guest guest
Yes that is true, but it is not my big toes that are aching. I do feel my 3rd eye chakra is coming along nicely. I have had some headaches, but don't know if it's the sinus problem or not, because these headaches come on after my 3rd eye does it's pulsating thing, but not every time. I guess it is all connected somehow though. Linda , Julia Ahern <jajahern wrote: > > DearLinda... I just looked at the chart of the feet again there... Guest guest
That is a cool picture. It like like he is wearing a watch on his wrist, but I suppose it is a bracelet. That Lumeria video I watched the other night had a some to say about the pinecone symbol too. It goes all the way back to Lumeria, the Motherland. So does the Swatika.
