Guest guest
Hi Julia, the book I read about 'multiple us' was in one of Robert Monroe's book. Probably the last one Ultimate Journeys. His first two books, Journeys Out of the Body and Far Journeys can be read online at Scribd.com. It could have been from Trufax.org that I read about that though. There were some things that Monroe was not allowed to write about in his books. http://www.scribd.com/doc/538690/Journeys-Out-of-Body-by-Robert-Monroe http://www.scribd.com/doc/13029246/Far-Journeys I had a dream once which I felt may have been a past life dream. I was this young woman and I was running through the forest. Being my villege healer was causing me much pain with all the responsiblities, with so many coming to me for help. I had to get away. I was feeling her burden, i just wanted to be a normal person for a while. Running through the forrest was a way to release. It's funny how you get so much from just a few little dreams scenes. The reason I was able to see the woman's body I was in, is that I was in her bedroom and she had a mirror there right by her bed. I thought maybe I was experiencing sleep paralysis at first, but i was able to turn my head and I was seeing out through the eyes of the Rose lady. I had dreamed of her before, she was in her backyard tending her roses bushes from her wheel chair. She loved roses so much, that is why I called her the Rose lady. When I saw her in Lowes, she was in the rose section looking at the rose bushes. Your experiences could have been an OBE. Many people have them without being conscious of leaving or returning. I see lucid dreaming and OBEs pretty much the same thing. A lot of people experience choking or not being able to breath when they are leaving or returning from an OBE. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Linda , Julia Ahern <jajahern wrote: > > Dear Linda, What is the name of the book? You had an amazing experience ... to actually see the person you were in...wow. I have not heard of " Multiply us living at the same time " .. can you say a bit more about that as I would love to hear it. > I have experienced being a very very old woman....She was in fact an old hag... absolutly ancient.... I was her.... breathing and the breath was leaving her....I could see out of her eyes but at the very same time I was also observing her! I don't think this was an OBE but I did experience being this woman. Thsi happened twice... > When my brother in Law was dying in hospital a few years ago... he became paralysed and couldn't move. One night I became him... I was in his body looking out of his eyes... I could see my/his hand on the bed and the view of the door in his room.... I remember feeling emotions too that I have kind of blanked out afterwards as I was not sure how to deal with it. I was him... and I was there... but it could have been a very vivid dream as I was asleep. > The experience of the old woman was during the day when I was in a meditative state. I was tempted to go down the past lives path because a lot of things were happening me then... connected to my throat and choking and my breath and other vivid dreams... but I decided the answer would come to me if it was necessary for me to know so I didn't poke at it.... I think if I had back then I would not have been ok with all the other stuff going on. > Do I believe in re incarnation... I believe it is a possibility.... Maybe for those who believe it... it is a reality?? > I know Jesus said somewhere in the NT ( I am not good at quotes so this is very very ad lib) " In my fathers kingdon there are many mansions " I have always been interested in what he meant when he said that. > Thanks Linda.. > Love Julia. > > > > > ________________________________ > Linda <crazycats711 > > Friday, July 3, 2009 12:25:00 AM > Re: Interesting dream... Guest guest
Dear Linda, I will follow these links, thanks for posting them. You know a lot about this... I love the way you can look at your dreams and your experiences. Maybe one day I will be able to do that also please God. I would be interested in learning more..... I could say that I am inclined to accept experiences over the years or I could equally say I ignored experiences over the years!! The latter would be more true though.... ~When I was a little child I used to have vivid dreams that I would remember next day.... I used to have vivid nightmares too and I would often run screaming from my room and only wake up on the way out..(i had a good and happy childhood)... I dreamed of spiders all the time and of course I was always being teased about spider dreaming at home. At some stage in my growing up in my teens choking nightmares became the " in thing " although spiders never left..lol! I could relate quite a few " funny " not! stories about choking. Anyway I also developed waking up no breath and woudl have to wait a second for my breath rushing back into my body.... I thought I had sleep apneoa or panic attacks in my sleep.. I was actually quite *normal*eacept for the night time things.... welll not quite true ......I had an MRI done in 1994 as some of the physical thigs that were happening like tingling in my face... goose bumps...and othere things...... I look back in wonder and consider myself quite blessed because I could have gone nuts, but even in the awful shaky times when I was spaced out I was also quite grounded.... OOPs Linda I am going on and on... what is with me tonight I am just here for ages and typing like crazy..lol And.. my keyboard is gone slow on me again so I have typed 2 or 3 lines before the print actually comes up on the screen... What was I supposed to be talking about ?????? Just checked..OBE's. Well one night after the birth of my 9 year old son (he was in hospital and I was very sleep deprived ) I woke up to hear music a choir singing and there was a grey wisp mist/smoke coming out of my mouth and going up towards the ceiling which was not the ceiling but a cloud of light... john was lying nest to me and I moved my arm and woke him and asked him could he see it, could he hear it....he said yes at the time.. but he would have said yes had I told him there were 100 pink elephants in the room as I was very week and tired! I knew I was just about to leave my body.. but I thought I had been going to actually die...... that freaked me out for a while but I think now that perhaps I have had OBE's and woke up just as that one was begining??? Gosh this is long Linda .. I am going to post and hope it reads ok. this is the first time I have spoken about this and now that I am sure the holy spirit /kundalini is moving in me.. looking back is to say the least interesting. Thank you for the links and for sharing Love Julia. .... PS I had a chat with the rain! ________________________________ Linda <crazycats711 Saturday, July 4, 2009 12:19:24 AM Re: Interesting dream... Guest guest
A post is never too long for me, Dear Julia. I love reading every word. I try to read all the post everyday from everyone. I don't get much of anything else read, but what better than reading here. I think Monroe's books may help you to feel more at ease with OBEs if nothing else. I had very vivid dreams when I was a child too and some nightmares. I sort of liked the scarey stuff so the nightmares did not really bother me so much as a child. I have been a Stephen King fan for a long time and have read most of his books and watch his scarey movies. Haven't watch any recently though, the things I am interested in have changed these last couple of years. Thanks for having that chat with the rain, it is just not listening to me. Hehe! I seem to have more a nack/gift to get rain and storms to stop, but not the opposite. , Julia Ahern <jajahern wrote: Thank you for the links and for sharing Love Julia. ....
