Dear chrism and all,

I have had great difficulty locating honey comb honey here... even contacted

local bee keepers but they all do honey in jars now.

Last night I thought of an organic shop near where I live and sure enough they

had an imported organic honeycomb from New Zealand.

The honey tasts so sweet and yummie. But the wax is very light. My memory of

honeycomb from my childhood was was that there was more wax than honey. This

wax is very light and if I was to spit it out to make a candle I would be eating

wax for the next decade LOL.

Is my memory of big thick wax incorrect or does it depend on where the bees

live, or the type of bee. Thanks guys. Ali I hope your bee is doing well.

Love Julia.

No worries. Just use it for the faste. My bees create thick and thin comb.

Depends on what they are going to use it for. Brood chambers or food storage.

Also depends on what the condition of the environment is that they are pulling

from such as the availability of pine resins and pollens and flower species. -
