Guest guest
Hi, I just got back from a walk on the trails by my work. It's nice and private and I'm usually the only one walking them when I go. (I usually avoid the lunch rush and go before or after. Today it was after.) A deer ran out onto my path RIGHT in front of me! So close and still so quiet and graceful. Then I rounded the corner it ran off to and it was still there. She had stopped and turned her head to look at me. I kept walking towards her and said, " Hi " with a smile. Not sure why but wanted to and she still stayed there looking at me as I walked closer and closer. When I was maybe 5-7 feet away she took off again while still looking at me like she wanted to say something or do something. Then she went off in the woods. I walked into the woods as well (on the path though) and then turned around where I usually do about 30 feet up and walked back where I came. And then I saw her again out in the open on a grassy path off the path I was on and she seemed to be perusing for food or just walking. She didn't seem to notice me this time but I don't think my presence scared her. That was cool. Three Deer sitings in five minutes time. (I know same deer but it came in three's. And I'm big on three's.) I looked up deer symbology online and found this: http://www.whats-your-sign.com/animal-symbolism-deer.html Nifty. Here's to an awesome sunny weekend to you all! (Whether it's raining or not, the sun is still shining.) Bliss, Maggie

Guest guest
Deer Maggie, This is beautiful. I love threes too. I think it's 108 degrees here on my lunch break...how lovely it is to stroll the woodlands with you. This is my interpretation...take from it what it means to you and leave the rest. Deer represents gentleness, caring, kindness and embodies love for all. Deer teaches people to find the gentleness of spirit that heals all wounds, to not try to change others, accept them as they are and that the only balance of power is compassion and love. She is curious, not scared. Her eyes are filled with compassion. Her gentleness and caring clears the path for all of Spirit's children to visit without the fears blocking their way. -Danielle , " Maggie Anderson " <a216024 wrote: > > Hi, > > I just got back from a walk on the trails by my work. Guest guest
Hi Danielle, Thank you so much for sharing! Animals overall always bring me a message of presence, simplicity, bliss and grace. And now I can read your words and gain more from this Deer and her offerings. Thank you thank you! Guest guest
Hi Maggie, I remember when I " had " a deer at Enchanted Rock............and " 3's " are my special #'s........Love to you........love to all in this group.........DAMN, it's HOT!!!!! The full moon emotions have reached our group, I see..........It's a family....and families have dysfunction once in a while. I am not the " julie " who has been involved in this last little spat; but I have been involved in spats before on this site.....and i came back, and was welcomed back by Chrism and all............i would have to say my Christian beliefs have changed slightly since I joined this group.....I still believe in the holy trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; but I am now willing to accept that God may present Him/Herself to others in a different way.......I don't know...........For me, it is PERSONAL.....just how God revealed Himself to me............Work out your own salvation (with fear and trembling) It is YOUR relationship with God.........not mine to question or judge........I have seen Elecktra and Skydancer evolve in this group, become open, and still keep their beliefs. For it is THEIR beliefs.......... Read some old posts...........GOD is LOVE...that's all.... I have enough to worry about with my plants on my balcony looking pretty droopy to wonder what is going on in all your Kundalooney heads................ Blessings to you all, children of light............, Julie --- On Fri, 7/10/09, Maggie Anderson <a216024 wrote: Maggie Anderson <a216024 Deer Friday, July 10, 2009, 2:56 PM Hi, I just got back from a walk on the trails by my work. Guest guest
Namaste dear deer lovers i too love dear. . .many years ago i was in the middle of the city and it was a hot, hot, hot summer day. . .walked outside and there was a deer was standing and panting from the heat. . .the deer had one horn and there was a goodly time the two of us made deep eye contact. . . my heart was so touched and in a few days i was talking to a Native Shaman and he suggested that i take her as a healing spirit guide. . .at the time i was in the midst of deep healing from abuse in childhood. . .the Shaman suggested the name " Wounded Deer " . . . for several years she would come to me in dreamtime and bring healing. . .i still hold her so dear, and in dream time she grew golden horns and became whole and radiant. . . Maggie do you have a totem animal? I love the Native story of deer and making her way to Holy Mountain, she was gentle and without fear and what ever obstacle she met was overcome by gentleness and fearlessness. .. . love and honor ordinary sparrow > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Hi Sparrow, I don't know that I have a specific totem. I am drawn to specific animals (usually cats or in that family) and other animals that seem to come and go with messages. I'm sure I have a totem but have not been told of one or seen only one consistently. I assume a meditation will find me next to a totem animal... Or maybe there are other options to figuring that out as well. It was a very mystical encounter with the deer! And from your experience they bring a variety of possibilities. blessings, Maggie , " ordinarysparrow " <ordinarysparrow wrote: > > Maggie do you have a totem animal? Guest guest
Kundalooney! yeah, that is us, me anyways. hehe! I have had a deer experience too. On my way to the CA. K seminar I went to last year, there were several deer in this field and I slowed down real slow because deers are known to just all of sudden run out in front of you. At least they do that here in Texas. This one female deer saw me and came running over toward my car and I slowed down more and more she ran alone side of me for the longest, just looking at me. After a while she sped up and ran across in front of me and was on her merry way. It was neat getting such an up close veiw of her running.
