Guest guest
I have a question.. hope it doesent bother anybody.. well, I started doing the 5 tibetans the day I joined here, and that was in the first week of june.. about a week after that I got my period, and it was way way early.. like almost 2 weeks early. I jenerally have a very long span, about 35 days. well, I just got it again today, and it's very early again.. within normal timings, but short for me. so my question is, is it possible that doing the tibetans have rearranged my body's cicle? it's the only factor I can see different in my lifstyle, and it's strange that the change occurred just after starting to do them... can doing the tibetans, and a more regular daily stretching have any influence on hormones? is this even possible? by the way, today it was the most painful experience I ever had.. if having a baby is anything like that I am not in a hurry at all lol just out of my standard conception of pain!! just wondering if it could be connected.. love to all of you, lucia

Guest guest
Yes Lucia changes can be given into the body systems that regulate the mens. flow cycles for women. The pain will decrease as the new cycle is adjusted to. - blessings. - chrism
Guest guest
could be the tibetans and the kundalini, the body wants to time the cycle with the full moon also so could be your body is finally getting in to rhythm with the cosmic cycles. The same happened to me, we also just had a full moon eclipse so that probably brought you on nicely, I have been getting cramps even though I just had my red moon. I always get cramps on the full moon no matter where i am in my cycle. Its just your body adjusting. And I have found changing my diet helps painful periods, I don't know what you eat but certain foods bring on cramps such as : Cooked meat, starchy snakes, chocolate and sugar. When I eat mainly vegetables my cramps diminish to almost nothing. A friend told me a while ago about her theory on cramps and I dismissed her, but when I actually put her theory to the test I have to say she was right! Guest guest
" starchy snakes " hehehe! that typo gave me a good belly laugh. Maybe laughing would be good for cramps too. Guest guest
hi elektra, it was strange to me all this pain because I dont usually suffer very much, plus I had noted that when I do enough stretching and keeping the body relaxed and loose in the month before the pain and cramps would not come at all. I am vegetarian sinse I was 3 years old, and dont eat much sugar or white grains so I would not connect it with that. but I tell you yesterday was hell, I was even driving and had to stop on the side of the road as suddenly i saw all white and was about to faint. I was sweating all over and my whole body was in pain, fromt he toes up lucky I knew it would pass lol! and I have been very good to my body lately too! but yes, it may be that it's reregulating. last month it was very light and no pain at all, maybe it had to make up for it, it's so heavy this time. I hope what chrism said will be the case, that the pain will diminish as it readjusts but I thinks so too. thanks lucia , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > And I have found changing my diet helps painful periods, I don't know what you eat but certain foods bring on cramps such as : Cooked meat, starchy snakes, chocolate and sugar. > When I eat mainly vegetables my cramps diminish to almost nothing. Guest guest
Hey Lucia, It could also be the eclipses, womens bodies are very sensitive to the moon and its ebbs and flows. Be gentle with yourself, I hope it passes. I too have had terrible pain from nowhere before, to the point of nearly fainting or vomiting, getting very hot and dizzy. I just can't do anything when that happens, and I have to admit, the first day of my redmoon I never do the tibetans, I just can't bare to. I just do the breathing and meditate. I found that my driving also becomes eratic when that time strikes and I'm in the intensity of it. I become very clumsy. Sending you a nice warm hug and hope you feel better lovely from elektra x x x
Guest guest
Namaste dear lucia just another angle that may or may not apply there where several times i ended up going to the emergency room for severe sharp pain. . .once i thought i had a hernia and then their was severe pain in the lower back and then was near the ovaries and i was never a cramper, another i thought was gallbladder, another pierce at the back of the heart, and then the throat. . . only afterwards did i find out that sometimes when the nadis pierces the chakra it can be quite painful as the nadis is beginning to move through and as it actually pierces. . .you might do a search on piercing the chakra and see if you can find info. . .also might ask what chakra do you feel is being cleared these day? is it the first or the second. . . i do not know if others feel the piercing of the chakra, but for some it can be an intense sensory. . . this may not apply. . .but for me the piercing was an ouch at times. . . and each time i would the Dr. would inform me that all the tests where clear and i would question my sanity for the pain would be so very intense. . . hope your temples are still chiming. . . love ordinary sparrow -
Guest guest
dear sparrow, I really can't know I feel I'm clearing a lot in the throat chakra, that is where I started focusing as it was hurting so much (much better lately, I started asking it why it is tight, and I dont always get the ansuer but it seems to be working wonders, so much is changing) but doing that brought up issues about my sense of power, and not letting others take control over my own doings and feelings. doing what I need to do, and letting go of fear of consequences and judgement. which possibly has to do with the lower chakras? I really dont know much... I did notice my left hand was vibrating and tingeling when I was hurting yesterday, spmething that has happened to me often before when the energy was high with my bf and that I had always connected with energy. and also I'd have occasional very bright white lights moving in my vision all day yesterday, but maybe that is just low blood preassure? doesent matter though, if it's nadis it will keep on it's developement, and if it's my redmoon (love that name elektra it will do it's thing anyway. I'm going to my hill tonight again, cant wait! I do wonder what those echoes are!! love, lucia , " ordinarysparrow " <ordinarysparrow wrote: > this may not apply. . .but for me the piercing was an ouch at times. . . > and each time i would the Dr. would inform me that all the tests where > clear and i would question my sanity for the pain would be so very > intense. . . > > hope your temples are still chiming. . . > > love > ordinary sparrow > > > - >
Guest guest
Namaste dear lucia. . . sounds like K Ma has you on the operating table. . .here is a talk from Swamiji one of my beloved weavers about the operating table. . .he says it in reference to Amma, but it would be the same energetic as the K Ma in your own life. . This is an excerpt of the talk and i have cut it in the middle and there are many threads moving in an out of the talk so may seen a bit disjointed, but like the analogy of K Ma having us on the table. . . ( Swamiji Tells the story of how monkey's are caught by sticking his hand into the pot, but will not release the nuts, thus he is entirely trapped by his desire and refusal to let go.) " But the hand monkeys are trapped and they remain in the cage for the rest of their lives. And because of that, because the monkey does not let go of the nuts, the monkey looses his freedom and the beautiful forest. But because of the grip he loose the beautiful forest and in a similar way because of our unintelligent attachments we lose the vast expansive Self. The blissful abode of our true nature. It seems we have been in the person a long time, then we become so use to it we think this is our home. Amma gives the example of the flower in the bud stage, that when in the bud stage thinks i am in the most beautiful place in the world. Inside the bud it is totally dark and does not know there is an higher state, the blooming, the becoming a flower that is full of sweetness, beauty, and fragrance. The bud feels it is the real state. We have been in this body for a long long time and we have many attachments so we do not want to come out of it. But we have the divine Doctor--- Divine Amma. With a huge operation theater. As big as the universe and there is a big cue of patients and all are waiting for the operation. Oh My! Now i am laying on the table half operated, or maybe seventy-five %, i do not know. Laughs! Mother cuts open my belly and takes out the intestines, and i am bleeding and hurting, struggling with pain. At one level there is very good anesthesia , a very high dose. What is that? It is the love and compassion of Divine Mother . Divine Mother has one of the best anesthesia. Sometimes i want to get up and run. No Doctor will let you get up and run out of the operation when they are half finished. Nothing doing. So you have to be there on the table, there is no choice. And so many people are waiting. So many people wanting to get on the operating table. Some people are at the front of the cue, and some are in the middle of the cue, and some are at the end of the cue all are waiting. What does that mean? It means that every one's turn will come someday to be on Mother's operation table. With a big smile on Her face, most compassionately Divine Mother will begin the major work. The pain can be great and then the pain is gone, and sometimes you will feel the frying pan. You will feel the heat of the furnace and you want to run away. You want to commit suicide even, really. I have thought that, and i have not tried it but i have ran away sometimes. But you know what? I pack all my things and put on my shirt and take my bag and sometimes i walked a few steps and came back. Sometimes i went across the backwaters about 100 yards, and there i stop and my legs become paralysis and i cannot take one more step. Now what? I pause and think, what shall i do now? I cannot go. So now i think Amma likes peanuts, there is a small shop there, so i go buy her some peanuts. I take the boat back and come back to the Ashram and give the peanuts to Amma. Done with it----finished. How many times this happened! So we are caught in the net. So Divine Mother is the Divine Doctor, therefore nothing to worry for she is with us. " . . . . . . . lucia it sounds like K Ma to me and the how when one chakra will set off the vibes or the chimes into the other chakra. . .this week with your singing and opening the chakras this " kinda, might, could be, i do not know " . . . be the energetic echo of the sound that went down and now is returning an echo of release? and an indication that your chakra are tuning with each other from the base notes up this time?. . .got to love Ma, once again like the operation analogy, i trust K Ma to be the most proficent surgeon and we so often are called to just wait it out with stillness and amazement of her mysteries and skillfulness. . love and peace ordinary sparrow , " lari.lu " <lari.lu wrote: > > dear sparrow, > > I really can't know > I feel I'm clearing a lot in the throat chakra, that is where I started focusing as it was hurting so much (much better lately, I started asking it why it is tight, and I dont always get the ansuer but it seems to be working wonders, so much is changing) > > but doing that brought up issues about my sense of power, and not letting others take control over my own doings and feelings. doing what I need to do, and letting go of fear of consequences and judgement. > > which possibly has to do with the lower chakras? > I really dont know much... > > I did notice my left hand was vibrating and tingeling when I was hurting yesterday, spmething that has happened to me often before when the energy was high with my bf and that I had always connected with energy. and also I'd have occasional very bright white lights moving in my vision all day yesterday, but maybe that is just low blood preassure? > doesent matter though, if it's nadis it will keep on it's developement, and if it's my redmoon (love that name elektra it will do it's thing anyway. > > I'm going to my hill tonight again, cant wait! Guest guest
well, I do hope it is so sparrow! it really is a nice image, being on k's operating table.. ha and I was sure bleeding and hurting plenty!! and the story of the monky I like very much too.. thanks sparrow! it's so wonderful to come to realize it is something for everyone, and that really there is no excaping it.. maybe postponing, clenching that fist tight inside the jar, but that eventually it will relax.. I did not feel it to be that way for a while, I belived it was something you had or you had not, like big feet or blue eyes.. thanks ordinary sparrow! love, lucia , " ordinarysparrow " <ordinarysparrow wrote: > > But we have the divine Doctor--- Divine Amma.
