Guest guest
Hello Sparrow, it looks like we do have a bit in common. I grew up in the middle of the piney woods of East Texas and I have more than just a bit of Texas accent. I have lived in all parts of Texas through the years and it seems to me the Texas slang is the most strong in the eastern section of the state. I have a strong Texas accent. I would like to make a few comments about what you have written. First I agree that is was very horrible that your cousin Jackie was exposed to such harsh teachings at such an early age. I do not know what other sunday school teachers teach, but all the years I taught, I only focused on teaching love, kindess, and respect for one another, even on easter sunday. The way I looked at it all the children across America were getting enough of the teaching of the harsh reality of life from the media and TV. They did not even need to go to church for that and they sure did not need to hear that from me on Sunday. I cannot imagine a Sunday school teacher being so insensitive as that, going into the details of the crucifixion with 5 years olds. That is totally inexcusable! Other religions have harsh parts in them as well. Can you imagine explaining/teaching Kali Ma to the 5 year olds. It would be just has shattering. There are going to be some bad teacher out there, but it does not mean all are. I also look at the media (or rather the powers that be that control the media) as the instigator of all the religious stife that in happening in the world right now and has been going on for the past 50 years. I see it as part of the propaganda to destory religions and family values so as to form the one world government. It all has to do with the commie take over of this country, which as been accomplished already and in my eyes is very sad. The powers that be have used the media as a tool to divide and destory. To take over rest of the world for them will be easy, like a peice of cake. We have very harsh times ahead for all of us is the way I see it. That is my take on it. Guest guest
Thanks Sparrow for that link. It was interesting reading about the lion symbol in the different religions and ages. They did not say much about the Lion of Judah or about Jesus being given that title. This link is a neat one for the Lion of Judah. The painting is really interesting, but wish I could see in in an enlarged version. http://guidinglightministry.com/lion.html I had the impression from the start, that this lion vistor of mine is female. It was interesting about the roaring. On the first visit she entered my house with a loud roar. It was frightening in the begining, but I do believe now that she does come with love, protection, and guidance. Thanks Sparrow, you seem to always have just the right link to share and are so right on about things. It is good to have you here with us. Love & blessings to you, Linda , " ordinarysparrow " <ordinarysparrow wrote: > > Namaste .. .guess those cats love us K babies and know > yours is right for you dear sister and she comes with love, protection, > and guidance. . . > > http://www.khandro.net/animal_lion.htm > love and honor > ordinary sparrow
