Guest guest
All: Do you ever find yourself in the middle of an activity and think, " this obviously has to be about so much more that what it is I'm currently doing. " I've spent the past few hours cleaning my house windows…taking down and scrubbing the screens, washing off the fine desert dust and grime from the inside and out. Through windshield wiper-like arm movements, I peek inward (West) at the lazy hounds snoozing on my bed. Occasionally they peek up at me with a single, half open eye and a questioning eyebrow. I peer outward (East) at the desert sky filling with thunderous storm clouds. I'm cleaning windows. Indeed, cleaning windows just prior to an obviously approaching MONSOON! -Danielle
Guest guest
HAHAHA Danielle! Thank you for the visual - I can see you so clearly now scrubbing away while the dogs snooze and the monsoon is creeping closer! hahaha There is something very Zen to this - and just think when the monsoon hits at least you'll be inside with a perfect view of it! Its like me washing the car before a storm comes - I go even faster to finish - why because I started...we don't like unfinished busniess do we? hahaha You are craking me up Danielle! Thank you!!! Deb Wonder if your dogs will even raise an eye when the monsoon hits...they sound pretty comfy! , " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon wrote: >

Guest guest
This reminded my of myself as a six year old pleading with my mother: " But Mom why do I gotta make my bed? I'm just gonna mess it up again tonight anyway! " lol... Many things seem pointless from one perspective, and very meaningful from another. Perhaps as we try to walk in both worlds we will find the meaning simultaneously for both points of view... And Deb if you see this, let me know where your 'typing chakra' is located? lol... be well, bradly
Guest guest
Hi ya Bradly, the bed making lol - I wonder how many of us said that to our moms and I wonder how many times we said it...and is there a mom somewhere out there that ever contemplated this and agreed? I want to meet her! (: And I think my typing chakra is in my fingertips...why you ask? (you did, right?) Because my cousin takes martial arts and works with a " Chi Master " - who told him to hold the energy ball because it will change his life...so for a long time now I hold that ball - or pretend to hold the chi ball - I don't know exactly why but I lay there in bed and this is one of the ways I entertain myself...(Bradly, Are you keeping it clean? ha) Anyway sometime ago I noticed if I rubbed my hands together real fast to make friction and pull them away you can feel that heat in the palm of your hands and bringing your hands closer and farther apart you feel that pull - but this was after some time. Anyway now my fingertips start burning and whirling...and I have the typing ramblings going on .... so there you have it...the holding the ball must have opened my typing chakras - was it for something else? And btw I still do not know what holding the ball is suppose to do, but thats what it did for me. Or so I tell myself! ha So if you know Bradly, what holding the ball is suppose to do, ramble away to me my friend... I don't think chi is the same thing as kundalini energy although I wonder if those that work with chi awaken their kundalini energy? I'm thinking of John Chang now. But beside him I wonder what you are suppose to do with the chi ball beside type to your friends of course! I see people on youtube all the time holding the chi ball...but I must have missed the part of what to do with it... I mean I think John Chang uses that and perhaps his kundalini with these gifts graced upon him to help others...but if you can't heal people what do you think we are to do? Send out healing prayers? And I do love the eastern culture and the Tao and tai chi and the beautiful graceful movements...I love the way they move so slowly through the air - like a dance - so beautiful I am mesmerized! I've watched countless hours on youtube watching the flow and grace and it humbles me so.. So I know its important this chi ball but I don't know why? And how does this chi ball benefit mankind and what do you suppose he meant by it would change your life? So many questions Bradley... And you were just hoping for a simple " in my fingertips " ... (: I love when you come out to play Bradly! Deb (: , " curball2002 " <curball2002 wrote: > And Deb if you see this, let me know where your 'typing chakra' is located? lol... Guest guest
Chi Ball I've been practising qigong for (chi Kung) for 15 years or so. The chi ball is one of the exercises that benefit both student and master. Chi is similar to prana - its the life force energy. Its your subtle body energy. But yes, different from the Kundalini. However, the qigong people awaken their own power house also - I guess, after all the words are spoken, its the same thing. The energy ball helps move energy - your life force- through your body - it helps keep the flow and stops you from having blockages. Its also a good exercise to practise for healing. Qigong is self healing. and you can 'do' it with others also - like reiki - same principles. like laying on of hands. Using white light, love and the desire to heal - no matter what form that takes. 2009/7/13 flowerpowers7777 <flowerpowers7777 > > > > > Deb (: > > > --- In <%40ya\ hoogroups.com>, > " curball2002 " <curball2002 wrote: > > And Deb if you see this, let me know where your 'typing chakra' is > located? lol... > > > -- Tiffany Jones Patheya
