Hi Deb,

Qigong grows outwards. That is, when you first practice, its in the breath.

Then, you start to feel it in the body. The, you might be able to move it by

doing breathing and having positive intention. The Taoists are big believers

in health and long life, so they produced many exercises for exactly this.

The, you may feel that you are gaining energy from nature, and you start to

feel connected, perhaps to a tree, or a special place. And then, again, it

gets bigger, wider and you feel the connection to earth, moon, stars - then

- everything.

Unity.

If you focus in your chi ball - and see yourself as the centre piece between

the earth below and the stars above - and allow the energy to flow through

you - yes - this is the time for your deepest love to flow through you and

it spreads like rays in all directions.

Yes - you can turn your hands outwards. I'll send a couple of photos to show

you a few stances you can hold. Its static qigong.

When I first practised and learnt, I did so in a group. My experience was

different from others, and I had private lessons. My teacher had me teaching

within a year. I learnt most teaching and interacting with others. Now I

only have two private students and no group. But perhaps its time to join a

group again.

:) Thanks Deb for your interest.

Dear Tiffany,

Thank you so kindly for this beautiful instruction! It feels so great to know

that you are here on this list with us! Looking forward to your photos! And I

wonder if you are on youtube practicing this? If so please give us the link,

would love to watch you!

I know I would love to hear anything you wish to write on this! I find it so

beautiful and so beneficial not only for the body but for all! So great to know

that you are out there somewhere doing this! Your students are lucky to have

you!

Much love and many thanks! I shall practice this before I go to sleep and I'm so

excited about it!
