Guest guest
Had a very strange dream this morning, i can only remember part of it. I was standing at the edge of a rippling lake and there were other people around, next to me is a hill with a flat ledge on top of it, its absolutely covered with hundreds cats, cats of all different sizes and ages, I tell my friend or rather " dream friend " that I'm going to get a kitty from up there, so I walk to the ledge. When I arrive (took me seconds to reach the top) every kitty has suddenly vanished without trace. I'm shocked, I look around and find a small rat/mouse instead, which I pick up and then it jumps out of my hand and lands down on the edge of the water, just in the water. I run down to the waters edge to pick up the rodent to help it, as I reach it a cat appears from nowhere and eats the rodent. I turn my head away and think " how cruel " and maybe part of me feels like i could have prevented it and then another part of me is telling me its ok and is just nature, let it be. The end. I have no idea what this was about. Any clues? love elektra x x x
Guest guest
Hi Elektra, this is what comes up for me lake.. the personal unconscious.. the cats.. predators..hundreds of them.. a strong energy emerging into consciousness... I have found that I need to befriend all the natural energies.. hunting and killing exists in nature and in our primal history too.. so those are useful qualities to have in life.. you may not need to kill, but you will need to be alert to opportunity, sometimes you may need to be quick and ready, and there will be times when you need to take and consume what is offered with certainty.. and when integrated, all done under the umbrella of love.. just more qualities to be at ones disposal in service of the divine.. love Bruce , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > Had a very strange dream this morning, i can only remember part of it. Guest guest
Hey Elektra, My take on your dream: I think of cats as instinctual energy. The part that grabbed my attention was when you in the dream saw the cat eat the rat. There was some inner conflict, on the one hand, this is cruel, on the other, this is part of nature. The vanishing of the cats when you went to get a kitten is curious although nothing is coming to me about that. blessings, Jan , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > Had a very strange dream this morning, i can only remember part of it. Guest guest
*All is illusion. * ** *Nothing is real. Literally. Everything; the beauty, the terror, the joy, the horror: all is such a false value of reality. It is untrue. * ** *I questioned. * * Yes, we must enjoy, fear, love, hate, strive, yet recall that all is but a reflection. I gave my worship to the sun and immediately the sun was covered to remind me that if I interpret the All as beauty, then I must also interpret All as misery as well. For if God is All then it is truly everything that is. Then there is no good or bad, it is just an interpretation of events. Humans make good and bad. Place nothing on a higher value but receive it all. I shall be delivered. Always remember the true value of this world: nothing. It is transitory and a fast fading illusion.* 2009/7/13 Jan <drjandean > > > Hey Elektra, > My take on your dream: I think of cats as instinctual energy. Guest guest
From my christian perpective I see the rat and the cats representing duality. Only the cat and mouse disappeared, the rest remained which represent God and all his creation. From my point of view All is not nothing, All everything except the illusion. Illusion is the no thing. blessings & love, Linda , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > Had a very strange dream this morning, i can only remember part of it.
