Guest guest
Sparrow: I wanted to say hello for a long time. When less than knee high, my mother would have me in her lap and show me sparrows outside the window. She would have me be quiet and not move and not jar the curtain so we could watch them and they would not fly away. She was a simple person and this was her way to show me the world. I can still remember her beautiful voice saying these things. When I see your postings I remember her. In my life I went through many traumas. I hated God because I believed that he made or could have stopped wars and fed the hungry if he cared. Midwives sang praises of God in my kitchen before the birth of my second child. If it were anyone else singing, I would have thrown them out, but I loved them with a special love. 2 weeks later I had a guru in my life that gave me a copy of the " Impersonal Life " and God. He and the book talked about thought, responsibility and manifesting everything in you life in this way. The book is available on line. I personally like the book version because it fits into my pocket and I read it on the subway. My recovery told me that I was responsible for my addictions. I also taught this professionally. I believe further that we are responsible for everything in our lives. To believe less than this is not to believe that we have the power to alter the way we live. This corresponds with your post concerning Dr. Len and Ho'oponopono. I would like further info on him and this Hawaiian belief system if you know of anything. I would also like to notify you and the group of my new healing group on this site. It is Kundalini-and-Combat-Veterans. If anyone knows of veterans that are interested please guide them to this group. Peace and Love, Jake
Guest guest
Hi Jake, If this helps, I wrote an article about Ho'oponopono on my website and at the bottom of the article I have a ton of links to different things that may resonate about Ho'oponopono (direct links to Dr. Len's site and other practitioners). I wrote this probably two years ago now and who knows if it all still resonates but it might! I am not sure if all the links are still working. But give it a shot! www.SpiritualCompassConnection.com/hooponopono.html Blessings, Maggie , Andrew Carney <jakecarney36 wrote: > > Sparrow: > I wanted to say hello for a long time. Guest guest
Namaste dear Andrew so good to hear from you and truly thanks for your image of you with your Mom and the kind words. . . Vietnam War shattered so many and from my experience of Vets the space of the shatter was so very often filled with much love, depth and decency. . . Andrew i often think of the quote by the Dali Lama when i think of the Vets that have blessed my own life. . " If you are strong enough to be weak enough you will be given a wound that does not heal for it is what keeps the heart open. " Andrew for the past ten years i have been doing intense energy work, and have not been able to be up and about. . .in my apartment building there are six Vets, three from Vietnam, two from Gulf War, and one that in military between those two wars. . .They have been my angels, i have a woman that comes in once every three weeks and takes care of cleaning, but it is the Vets that have been true, true friends and have made it possible for me to do this chosen energetic work in so many small and not so small kindnesses. . .Each one of these guy have PTSD and drinking issues. . .and they are some of the finest men i have every been graced to know. . .and they have continued to heal deep and bring the fruit through there own lives. . .Blessings on you for starting a group for Vets and Kundalini. . . Thanks for telling me about the Impersonal Life, i am not familiar with it but will check it out soon on the web and read it. . .And Margie has supplied some great links on the Ho'oponopono, so will not supply any more. . .and Andrew i do know a woman in Colorado along with her husband has volunteered with Vets with PTSD for many years, and will notify her about Kundalini and Combat Vets. . . i can certainly see how K Ma would activate for the experience of War can take one to the core, and that is where She so often is released. . Andrew if it is okay with you i will just give your email address to Dr. Estes and her husband concerning K Ma and Vietnam Vets or do you just want me to have them search for K Ma and Vietnam group?. . ..let me know which is best. . . much honor and love to you ordinary sparrow , Andrew Carney <jakecarney36 wrote: Sparrow: > I wanted to say hello for a long time.
