Guest guest
Chrism & All: In both my dreams and meditation for the past few days I see a symbol that is like the swastika, but it is not. At first it startled me ...but when I took notice with my heart, it feels light and positive. In the imagery I cannot see people's faces but they are a rainbow of colour-like a swirling aura, and over their heart is this symbol. This morning it was there again, but this time on a pottery-like vessel that held water. The symbolism of it, being on a water-holding vessel, pointing in the four directions, and it being over the people's hearts is significant to me (I just don't " know " the meaning or why) and fills me with a sense of hope which is almost a bliss-like homecoming feeling. I guess I'm more-so used to dreaming of animals and nature objects. I would be appreciative of any thoughts on the matter. " Channels " seem to be opening up a rather quickly lately, so I want to stay in check before not being able to stay connected to the group when I travel to Europe soon. Thank you chrism and everyone. -Danielle
Guest guest
Hi!I saw something similar, Its a cross, but with bends - and I found this photo</photos/album/1\ 071440854/pic/1901683582/view?picmode= & mode=tn & order=ordinal & start=1 & count=20 & di\ r=asc>that was kind of like it but not... I get so much love from it! Perhaps its symbolic, in this modern world, that we associate the swastika with 'hate' - when actually - its more a threat to our ego. Interesting. Guest guest
This symbol was ALL over India. It was at each entrance to one's house or one's store. I forgot the meaning, but it is a postive one. The negative swastika symbol that we are familiar with is backwards, I believe Hitler did that. I'll have to find out the meaning of it, now that's bothering me...but I just wanted you to know it is good and it's everywhere with the Hindu's in India. Guest guest
it is a blessing from the 4 corners. to me it shows the way that energy flows. It looks to me like the holy grail cup .. if you visualise a swastika in 3d then rotate it as the way it is directed to flow , it becomes a cup , the cosmic cup the shape of the female force, shakti, one flow i would assume forms creation , and flowing its opposite direction destruction.both are relevant and is creation better than destruction? The isle of man in the uk has a 3 legged one. Hitler went all the way to tibet looking for immortality/ kundalini?.There is way more to the hitler story than we see, as they say that the arian posesses the fire, could that fire be k? anyway the arians migrated, im not clear on this but , (no im not a nazi, just interested in immortality too ! ) I think the travel goes from atlantis , to the mayans, then over the barring straight into tibet, then kurdistan, iran, india , scrithians, greeks, irish, scottish. if you look into the folklore tales of these counties you can certainly see it is rich in kundalini symbology. purple , " lo1o113 " <lo1o113 wrote: > > This symbol was ALL over India. Guest guest
also look at the peace symbol, it is the arms of the tree of life , the holy cross , with the limbs broken off.it then becomes the crows foot, creation destruction , yin , yang, again for me. symbology is really interesting and subconsciously it speaks to us. Look around you can see it being used everywhere , look at the symbol of windows on your computer it is a swastika. I like yantra's myself. purple. , Tiffany Jones <Tiffany wrote: > > Hi!I saw something similar, Its a cross, but with bends - and I found this > photo</photos/album/1\ 071440854/pic/1901683582/view?picmode= & mode=tn & order=ordinal & start=1 & count=20 & di\ r=asc>that > was kind of like it but not... > > I get so much love from it! > > Perhaps its symbolic, in this modern world, that we associate the swastika > with 'hate' - when actually - its more a threat to our ego. Guest guest
I found this: Swastika Second in importance only to the Om, the Swastika, a symbol which look like the Nazi emblem, holds a great religious significance for the Hindus. Swastika is not a syllable or a letter, but a pictorial character in the shape of a cross with branches bent at right angles and facing in a clockwise direction. A must for all religious celebrations and festivals, Swastika symbolizes the eternal nature of the Brahman, for it points in all directions, thus representing the omnipresence of the Absolute. The term 'Swastika' is believed to be a fusion of the two Sanskrit words 'Su' (good) and 'Asati' (to exist), which when combined means 'May Good Prevail'. Historians say Swastika could have represented a real structure and that in ancient times forts were built for defense reasons in a shape closely resembling the Swastika. For its protective power this shape began to be sanctified. http://hinduism.about.com/od/artculture/a/major_hindu_symbols.htm Laura , " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon wrote: > > & All: > In both my dreams and meditation for the past few days I see a symbol that is like the swastika, but it is not. Guest guest
Just this past month I had watch some Youtube video of Lumeria and the meaning of symbols. The swastika is one of the original religious symbols and represent a lot. It is still today in every religion in some form of it. The cross is a simplified version of it. The general meaning is that it is the four corners, the for winds (means the four voices or messengers of God.It is also a symobol for the whole kundalini process. The Archangel Uriel rules over or the messenger of the left arm...earth...the Tree of Life (symbol tree). The top arm is ruled/messenger by the Archangel Michael..fire...the Sword of Truth (symbol sword in shape of a cross). The right arm is ruled/messenger by Raphael...air...the healer (sybmol the caduceus The bottom arm is ruled/messenger Gabriel...water..the Chalice. The fire and air represents male, the earth and water represents the feminine. Hitler was not the origin of the swastika being backward, it existed before his time, he just gave it a bad rap. The plain backwards one represents the feminine and the other direction of the arms represents the male. The swaktika symbol does not mean anything bad. It represent the foundation of creation over all. That is what I have discovered about it. I am very into learning about symbols and what they mean. Guest guest
dear Danielle and Linda Linda you have stated this most beautifully and it is powerful energetic symbol. . .and when seen in its energetic form we can readily see how so many of the great religions have its expression. . .another one i would add is the Yin/Yang with its four internal moving parts, and also the four gaits of the Native, Hindu, and Buddhist gates of the medicine wheel or mandalas. . . Danielle the Durga picture i have in my altar has Durga holding the symbol in one of her eight arms. . .when i first started going to the Temple, would sit on the floor in front of Durga. . . soon came to experience the objects that Durga (the Hindu Universal Mother) carries in her hands has many layers of meaning. . .Then when i began the energetic work found that each instrument that Durga holds in her hands is an energetic expression that is used within the body to do the energetic weaving. . .The energetic swastika is used continiously and the little feet are like fingers that catch, hold, and spin the one continious thread in the weaving process. . .at first i was so mystified, for i could not understand how it was possible to get the " tool box " into the body and use them so aptly for the weaving. . .it continues to be part of the Great Mystery to me. . .how can somethings be so etheral and subtle and yet so physcial. . . . So much mystery. . .and such a blessing for the sharing and grace of each of our awakenings. . . perhaps K Ma is polishing the heart?. . ..there is a Sufi concept of polishing the heart, hmmm maybe like polishing your windows?. . .The Sufi system that i have read through Irina Tweedie and her teacher speak of the heart chakra being the most important to work with, for they said once the heart was " polished " all the others would line up and the awakening would be easier for the other chakras. . .just something i remember and know you will know whether the words fit. . . . Hope your trip will be great to Europe and Ireland. . .Have fun and be blessed. . love and peace ordinary sparrow , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > Just this past month I had watch some Youtube video of Lumeria and the meaning of symbols. Guest guest
Thanks Laura, that was interesting to read about the Hindu meaning. I did a search on it back few weeks ago when Tiffany J, I think it was shared about it. Or it might have been Sparrow. Danielle, you may want to do a search here and see what was said then about it, and the person shared a very interesting version of it, just in case you missed that post. Guest guest
Its a good thing Danielle. Represents the movement of energy. The Swastika is an ancient symbol which was utilized by many early civilizations. Only in the last century was the Black Sun given as a representation of evil. This is actually not the case as regards all swastikas. Remember intention+ symbol of that intention = the expanded fruits of that intention. The Hindu and Jewish and Shamanic communities among others represent it as a powerful construct of movement. It represents among other things, the Kundalini. You are right on track dear Danielle!- P.S.I tried to get a pic of the swastika that I like but the site it was on isnt helpful imho. So please do not take as an endorsement from me for the page of Mr. Boyd. - c
Guest guest
Thank you chrism and all. I came across (literally) the following during lunch... I like to get out of the office for my lunch break; I get so exhausted spending my morning at work surfing through the k-group postings (joking). I had everyone's post response in my mind (thank you) as I strolled down the tiled office hallway. This was apparently the starting line of my lunchtime scavenger hunt. The grout in between the tiles formed a continuous cross symbol. I was forced to pause smack in the middle of the INTERSECTION due to a large truck with colourful letters blaring the word " INTEGRATED " ; to my left was a cross symbol which read " URGENT " , and to my right was another cross symbol with a snake running through the center blinking " CRITICAL " . Just out of sight, plastered onto a lamp post, was a poster of a skull with a swirly at the forehead and bold lettering propped in the corner reminding all, " 3RDI " . (I grin at it every day now as it welcomes me to work mile post.) The little girl sitting in a stroller, shaded with a rainbow umbrella, sported a shirt with big red hearts, and it sang " LOVE " ; the car turning in front of me had a yellow and blue sticker that read " HOPI " . (Ding, ding, ding …that's it!!) That is it…all of the above. It represents all this -fortune, prosperity, love, hope, the directions- and like the saying goes… " All this, plus a bag o' chips " (like the very random bag of chips I handed to the homeless man while inquiring, will these make you too thirsty?). Thank you all so much for the puzzle pieces and assisting me with fitting them together. -Danielle , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Its a good thing Danielle. Represents the movement of energy. The little girl sitting in a stroller, shaded with a rainbow umbrella, sported a shirt with big red hearts, and it sang " LOVE " ; the car turning in front of me had a yellow and blue sticker that read " HOPI " . > -Danielle > > > , " chrism " <@> wrote: > > > > Its a good thing Danielle.
