Guest guest
Deb - Thank you for the huge drum roll. Thank you very much. I hope it sheds some light on the subject. I've thought to keep adding a few little videos - keep them short and to the point. If anyone has questions and queries and you don't want to google them - feel free to ask. All thanks goes to Deb for pushing, pushing pushing me... and Deb - I throw one right back! 2009/7/20 flowerpowers7777 <flowerpowers7777 > > > > Hi everyone....Its presents in July... > > My interest in the " chi ball " has brought our Chi star Tiffany, out into the > open helping me to learn how and what to do... > > She very lovingly made a couple videos here and is allowing me post them > for everybody! > > Wait to you see her in action!! Guest guest
Hi ya Tiffany, Guess who? (: I hear this is the " IN BOX " for questions. Lets say we get our stance right and can feel the energy ball...lets even say the fingertips are burning and twirling...now what? (: If we want to use it for self healing, do we throw (yes I seem to have an inkling toward throwing things) it at the spot? Lets say for example the foot - would I just throw it there? Or do I feel it move through the body - you know like in that movie " The Matrix " when Neo jumps in computer guys mouth and becomes a bunch of balls rolling through computermans body? Do we take the chi ball (first filling it with healing intentions topped with a love cherry) and let it roll baby roll throughout the body like a snowball picking up more snow - but in this case unwanted stuff? Then roll it deep into the earth? Or can we just practice this lifetime with chi balls so that when we all die and go to the everafter we could all have a great time of dodge chi ball - but we get to fly around like in harry potter without our broomstick - people will be zipping by every which way and chi balls will be zooming past at faster than lightening speed! And when we want to be alone we could make big comfy chi ball clouds to rest on...hey maybe thats what those clouds in the sky are... chi masters that have passed on - upstairs there making chi clouds and having a grand time making faces in them at us! Or is that you Tiffany? Come on...fess up! (: ha Oh oh these fingertips turned on again...just itching to know what to do with a chi ball - Master Tiffany I shall throw the ball again in your court! Catch!! Much love from the pushy chi ball maker, Deb (: , Tiffany Jones <Tiffany wrote: > > > Deb - Thank you for the huge drum roll. Thank you very much. Guest guest
Hello Deb, Thank you for your question - it always helps to rearrange information into the shelves of my head. You really know how to lighten a topic and I appreciate it. I'm always feel a little dry and withdrawn. *What to do with the chi ball? * In my experience, I use the chi ball in a sequence of other similar exercises. So it is, for me, just one of many easy chi kung exercises. You can do what ever you want with the chi ball. Personally, we have practised giving the chi ball to others - a partner - or in a circle. Its quite fun and has high energy potential. By doing the wu chi stance, and doing the chi ball - you are already self healing. Each exercise moves the chi/prana around the body (traditionally through the meridians as per ) I have heard of some people only doing one exercise for their adult life - and it keeps them fit and healthy. However, I like to use a few different methods at once. This is painting the wall<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pU4GdD43TM & feature=channel> And this one is Flower Breath<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGGFyv-819g & feature=channel> I do the exercises one after the other - about 30 breaths for each one. The mind sends the energy - so the important point is concentration. Always move the body with love. Spend a few moments understanding and contemplating 'god is everything' - and then - just play qigong. With love Deb. Guest guest
Thanks for those videos Tiffany, you did great in creating them and I agree with Deb, you did not look withdrawn at all. I don't think I am suppose to be playing with stuff like that right now though. *sigh* I am still experiencing congestion, but it is getting better. Last night all I did was the emotional parts of the safeties and the compression prayer and woke up in the night. At least I think I did really wake up. My body was all a buzz and my 3rd eye was pulsating stronger than it ever has and I was hearing turtle dove cooing. I think they really were right outside my window cooing away. I felt electrically all day, like I could really shock someone if they touched me. Didn't have a headache from it and am thankful for that. Friday evening we had another thunderstorm here and after it was almost over I took off to my daughter's house and on the way over noticed this long dark cloud that was shaped just like a crocodile with it's mouth open ready to chomp down on another small cloud out in front of it. I watch as it swallowed the small cloud and then his face changed a little and looked like he was smiling with a satisfied grin. hehe! This was one of koinkydink things, since I had just read that day of someone seeing a crocodile in the sky. I wondered why was I seeing one, too. So it was just those chi masters up there playing around. Or I guess it could have been Tiffany playing with chi balls. Thanks, Julia for sending more rain our way and also thanks to all those who made an intent for that last week. I do appreciate all the rain. Guest guest
Hello Deb, I've written a quick article about where to practice qigong <http://patheya.blogspot.com/2009/07/best-place-to-practice-qigongchi-kung.html>\ - and I've included two links in the post. Both of the links hold a wealth of information about qigong and might answer some basic questions. But remember - as with just about everything, theory can only get you so far - practice is the key to understanding and success. Thank you for your kindness towards me, Love 2009/7/21 flowerpowers7777 <flowerpowers7777 > > > Hi ya Tiffany! > > Thank you!! Now I shall play! (: > > This means much to me! Guest guest
Dear Linda, Thanks for writing Linda. There has been many times when I stopped practising qigong for numerous reasons. I'm not sure this type of energy exercise is for all people - its just another tool. Pick it up, see if it fits, and if not, put it back on the shelf. * I watch as it swallowed the small cloud and then his face changed a little and looked like he was smiling with a satisfied grin. hehe! **!!! * I'm going to copy and paste from 'this website<http://www.dawnsong.com/faq.htm#9>' about qigong. *Question # 9:* * " I recently started qigong, but I seem to feel worse rather than better. This is scary and makes me doubt this is the right thing for me. " * Suggestion: There are several things that could be happening here. • Qigong changes the way you have done things for years, and this is your body/mind/spirit protesting the change--the known and " comfortable " and " usual " have a strong attraction! • *Remedy *: Sympathize with your body/mind/spirit and reassure yourself that you are at least going to try this. Affirm that this will work for you! And keep practicing! You may want the advice of one of the qigong masters, or your health care professional. • You may be doing the form " wrong; " *for example *, doing the Wall Squats, your knees go over your toes, or your lower back is not yet flexible enough to go down as far as you have been trying. • *Remedy *: [image: Peer to Peer Training]Study the instructions again, or ask an instructor or fellow practitioner for feedback. Pay attention to how you are doing it, what you are thinking (where is your focus while you do the form?), etc. Often the form " collapses " when the mind wanders or is too focused on a particular outcome. Modify the form to fit your capabilities or try another form (e.g. La Chi instead of Wall Squats or Spring Forest Qigong which generally is not physically challenging) Each form has the power to heal. • Qi is cleaning you out, and the toxins, both physical and emotional are being released, much as we get colds to clean out the debris in our system. These reactions are called " Qi Reactions. " See “Practice Hints/Articles” #9. • *Remedy *: These are temporary manifestations and will pass. If they do not pass in a reasonable time, try a different form. If it reassures you, visit your health care professional for suggestions. Read the stories in 101 Miracles; many of the people there had qi reactions. Often, the problem is more that our mind is afraid than that our body is sick! See also the next suggestion: • You may be trying to do too much (or too little) qigong: a little goes a long way in the beginning for many people; for others, they need a massive dose to jump-start healing. Listen to your body, encourage and invite rather than force the changes. • *Remedy *: Try doing less or more. Try a different form. Try a different time of the day. Find a qi partner to practice with. Log on to the discussion forum for some support. Revisit your goals for doing qigong. Are you in this for the long haul? Read the stories in Luke's book, 101 Miracles. Several of these people had adverse reactions. • You may be too focused on a particular outcome. • *Remedy *: *Let go. Let the qi do the work. Think: empty mind, healthy body.* sounds like all the energy work - huh? Guest guest
Hi Tiffany, even before I knew what chi balls where I used to set/lay there at night playing with the energy from my hands and in the dark you can actually see sparks of light come out. I still like to do that. There is a question I would like to ask you. Back about 4 years ago I decided I was going to try qigong and bought this kit for a $100. It came with CD, cassettes, VCR tape, DVD and a booklet. Loads of stuff. It is called Spring Forest Qigong by Chunyi Lin. The problem is everytime I practice doing the exercises I would get so sick afterwards. Was I doing something wrong or does it actually make one feel sick when they first began the program? I don't know why the guy didn't do a set for women and one for men, but he stated for women to go the opposite direction of what he was doing which was a little hard to follow at times. Anyways, I was just wondering why it made me feel so sick doing them. Even now thinking about it, it gives me that feeling somewhat. Guest guest
Dear Linda, Thank you for your question. Seeing sparks of light! Lovely. *There is a question I would like to ask you.* *Was I doing something wrong or does it actually make one feel sick when they first began the program?* From my experience, spiritually active people/K people are going through an accelerated pace of learning. The Kundalini energy ‘cleans’ us – it’s a healing process so we can come back to who we really are. Qigong is again, a cleaning process. Its designed to release tension held in the body. We feel it much more intensely than others. Some feel a good stretch. others are transported. The body tissue holds memory. So, the qigong is releasing memory. It can be difficult to let go, it can be painful and for many of us it is. If you wanted to try - and if its very difficult for you, then I’d recommend going to a teacher you trust with one on one instruction – or persevering anyway. It will make you sick. It will be the release of energy. More or less, grin and bare it. J It shouldn’t last three months! J six weeks is normal to adjust to your new patterns. Anyway - the Tibetans are similar yoga postures suited to releasing negative energy also. Its just another way to do things. (Personally I do a bit of everything - most people don't agree - but I'm a big mix of races so it suits me to be a patchwork) Qi = energy Gong = work Energy work. We know from our own experiences that we need to lift our expectations – and ‘do’ the exercises – without intention. Feel what is, not what you want or expect. Understand that qigong is self healing. When we heal the self, we have to start with love and respect to the body, foremost. Call your guides – call who you want – let everyone be a witness – and do your ‘cleaning’ with humility. Sickness is especially related to the lower chakras. Getting you ready for root contact. Thanks again for your questions and your story. With love, 2009/7/21 Linda <crazycats711 > > > Hi Tiffany, even before I knew what chi balls where I used to set/lay there > at night playing with the energy from my hands and in the dark you can > actually see sparks of light come out. Guest guest
Thanks Tiffany, since I have been doing the Tibetans for the last 2 years, maybe the Qigong would not affect me as bad as back then. I will have to give it another try and see what takes place. Just knowing it can make a person feel sick and that it is part of the process is a help. All the people on the tape giving there comments where all getting great results saying it was healing them and feeling great. I thought I must have been doing something wrong. Thanks for anwering my question, Blessings, Linda , Tiffany Jones <Tiffany wrote: > > Dear Linda, > > Thank you for your question. > > Seeing sparks of light! Lovely.
