You know, that quote you gave me from Lao-Tsu is dead on! Each time I search for an answer to a practice question (and of course this is when I can't remember it off the top of my head and I'm already starting to feel stressed) the only answer given is this peace and silence, and of course my mind says this is isn't the answer it needs and I start stressing more. But maybe this is the exact answer I need, I'm not going to learn nor retain much if I'm stressed out. Ah thanks Sparrow! I also realized that I'm demanding that the world make me happy... " I won't be happy unless I pass this course " ...which it cannot do. In my heart I was putting my goal infront of my spiritual growth and Shakti. I think I'm going to study every other day and trust that what will unfold is my path to my Divine heritage. > > what is NLP? > > craig > Techniques Craig, with your permission, allow me to take you on this little journey. Invite your wonderful imagination to come forth, find a comfortable place. Now set an intention, using your own words something that says how easy and seamless it is to study, you are not impacted by the worries that creep into you thought process. They are there for a fleeting moment and like moving clouds slowly drifting away. Now, as you breath, focus on the exhale breath letting go of worry, of tension, of all the negativity you hold. Observer the breath slowing the heart rate slowing as well. Take your time do not rush. Now think of a time when you had no worries, felt you were in this very zen space, in the mountains, the beach, some tranquil place where all the worries vanished without you doing anything. Picture yourself being there, happy, joyful, bristling with anticipation of experiencing the very nest moment coming your way. Allow all of your sensory body to participate in this process fully, this is significant. Go deep into this space. Now, feel your body becoming lighter, picture, imagine, visualize or pretend it makes no difference, feeling your bodies energy moving more rigorously, with a different cadence, a different liveliness, with a knowing of how easy this test will be. Once you've taken yourself here allow the mind to receive it, to register it, etch it into your subconscious, for a new neuropathy to be formed. Give yourself the gift of repeating this process each night as you go to sleep. Craig, the tension we feel is born inside of us, an internal pressure fueled by our emotional bodies as it relates to old events and experiences, it is also an opportunity to explore, see its connection to what we hold in a cellular way in our bodies from those events and experiences embedded within us. Know, you can not fail, there is no such thing. Each event comes down our path to aid our growth to unravel the rapping's of the old ways of thinking so that we might see new opportunity. Opportunities are endless, they come embedded in every new moment, they are not always staring back or at least in the shapes, colors or in the people we might expect them to be in but they are there. How we look and frame things becomes critical, becomes a way we move with either eloquence or burdened with inarticulacy, not knowing how to express our needs. This test taking experience is something you've mastered, good luck (I do not believe in) my friend. The brief explanation NLP: Neuro Linguistic Programming. The utilization and power of words and language. The notion that everything is processed through our nervous system via the five senses. Visual, Auditory Kinesthetic, Olfactory and Gustatory. An exploration of non verbal language. The discovery of how we run programs to achieve specific outcomes either for ourselves or others. Other non verbal communication systems through which our neural representations are coded, ordered and given meaning Love Out …………………LOUD burgeoningheart > > > , " ordinarysparrow " <ordinarysparrow@> wrote: > > > > Namaste > > > > dear Craig > > > > my heart and thoughts go out to you and place a big hug around you----- > > > > i can empathize with everything that you write-------and how many times > > in life when i first ventured into a new world would hit all kinds of i > > am not enough or i am too much -------- > > > > the questions you are asking are within you; " At the center of your > > being you have the answer; You know who you are and you know what you > > want.
