Guest guest
In this dream I was back in time when I babysitted a friend's two children. That day she asked me to baby sit them for a couple of hours which I did at my house. Then I walked them home when the two hours were up and got there just as my friend arrived home. She asked me if I could babysit again the night and I said OK. She said they were going to have a family celeration and wanted me to come, so as help with keeping up with the children. I said I would go check with my husband and would return. I had the impression her and her husband were having some problems and was concerned about what would be taking place that night. He husband did not look as himself but some movie actor that I do not know his name, but do know his face. He is in some western movies and myabe some action type. I don't remember what charactor he played either. I tried looking up the guy on the net, but didn't find him in all those photos.. I was then where my husband was working and let him know my plans and was headed back. This person in a car drove up at that point and ask me if I was like a ride back. I said ok and got in the car. Instead of turning around, the guy drove the car in reverse all the way up the street. He past by my friends house and kept going around the block. I asked him where was he taking me? I said to him, need to go back to go back to my friends house, not my house. He laughed and then drove back around the block, stopped and let me out. In the meantime, something had taken place and a huge fight was going on in the front of my friends house. My friend was trying to break up the fight, which was about 5 or 6 people all bundled up fighting each other. Then I looked over and my friends husband was lying there on the ground with his head cut off. He still looked like the movie guy, but was giant size. His head alone was about 5 feet tall lying there on the ground. None of that represented any of how my friend and her husband really are in realtime life. She is a nurse and he is a doctor in real life. Both are very nice friendly helpful people. Does anyone have any clues what this dream could mean? I sure don't. Guest guest
I finally figured out who the movie star was. It is Christopher Walken, but not so sure what type of movie characters he played. I check what movies he played in and the only one's I recognized that I have seen is " The Prophecy " movies and " Mousehunt " . I still don't know if that means anything to me. Guest guest
Namaste dear Linda have read you dream twice and do not have a clue but it feels like it hold significance. . . . .maybe Bruce will come along and take a look, he has a interesting grasp of dreams. . . . oh mercy! Christopher Walken. . . . .he plays some really intense roles, he often plays roles where he is without heart and emotions, what he does with the tough guy demeanor is legendary. just some pondering that might help you to find what it is for you? what have you put together on this one? what is the relationship between your own mind and heart, does your mind nurture and support your heart and feelings? Are there internal issues of incompatibility of mind and heart? Is your mind been judging or critical of some of the emotional intensity that K Ma as brought forth recently in clearing and cleansing? the head has a tendency to from the judgments and critiques of what is right and wrong with yourself or other, the place where the egoic resides. . . .could K Ma be telling you that it is time to work on your internal self criticisms that do not want you to have your emotions and freedom of spontaneous feelings? I ask that because Christopher Walken often play such stoic non emotional parts. So often he is very heady and when one looks at his body it does not appear that much blood is flowing his body. . . .your masculine may not like you turning cartwills on moonlight nights out under the sprinklers. . . .but not to worry Linda, for we love the part of you that expresses with such light, laughter, and just good fun, and if he is being critical of that vitality then glad Kali Ma has put his head on the ground. love to you dear sister ordinary sparrow , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > I finally figured out who the movie star was. Guest guest
Thank you Sparrow, you have given me much to think upon. BTW, the doctor friend who was being portrayed as Christopher Walken is a heart specialist. I have never been much for keeping up with movie stars, but they are in my dreams quit often and I never know what it means most of the time. LOL! Sometimes I do wonder if my mind is just making all this stuff up or that I am being tricked by some entity to believe something that is not truth. LOL! I think I am getting better at just trusting the process, but it hard at times. I guess I do try and analyze things too much at times, too. Also, like in the middle of that session with K-ma the other night, I just had to see if I could stop the song that was being sung through me. Which was a dumb thing to do, but I do things like that spontaneously without any thought. No thinking before action. When I do I am critical of myself later when thinking back on the dumb thing I did, usually feeling embarrassed about it. My hubby points that out to me a lot, usually in a scolding voice. He gets embarrassed over my spontaneous actions, too. I do feel this dream is an important one. I have been aware of many dreams lately, but they of vanish when I wake up. This one did not, even though I went back to sleep after dreaming it, it was still on my mind after I woke up for the last time and was staying with me, even though I was wanting it out of my mind. In the dream when I as was talking to his wife, I did look over at him and he did looked a bit washed out and not himself. The celebration had something to do with him and some other person/friend. I don't know exactly how to explain his look, but just looking at him there looking wash out, like one of the living dead gave me the zeebies. Then seeing his giant head on the ground with his eyes still open really gave me the zeebies. Hehe! I wish I could understand dreams better. Thanks for your help,Sparrow. Guest guest
Hey Linda, I'm kind of intrigued by the guy that offered you a ride and then drove backwards. that seemed to separate the dream somehow into two parts. I couldn't tell whether he was being playful or creating interference. what do you make of him? and the going backwards?? There is a lot to this dream. I like a little Jungian book called Inner Work by Robert Johnson. He suggests taking all the nouns in the dream and free associating to them, qualities, adjectives, etc. A particular free association will begin to resonate and offer an intuitive understanding as to what the dream is about. love and blessings, Jan , " ordinarysparrow " <ordinarysparrow wrote: > > Namaste > > dear Linda > > have read you dream twice and do not have a clue but it feels like it > hold significance. . . . .maybe Bruce will come along and take a look, > he has a interesting grasp of dreams. . . . > > oh mercy! Guest guest
Yes, it did seem strange to me for the guy to go backwards when he had plenty of room to turn around. It also seemed like he passed by where I needed to go on purpose. I sort of think it was probably interference, but maybe I was not suppose to see all the action as it took place. The people all fighting in a bunch like that was distrubing too. There was a young girl in a pink dress sitting on the ground under all that. She was scrunched down with her hands covering her ears. There is a good website that will explain your dreams is a similar way as you describe. I will have to try and find it and submit my dream to them and see what they have to say about it. Thanks for you input Jan. I do appreaciate it. blessings & love, Linda , " Jan " <drjandean wrote: > > Hey Linda, > I'm kind of intrigued by the guy that offered you a ride and then drove backwards. that seemed to separate the dream somehow into two parts. Guest guest
Sparrow this rocks! You know, you usually hear people say they laughed and cried at something and then go to it and you didn't feel it the same way. But not this time, I know what you mean now about laughing and crying. This was awesome! And I love the let loose symbolism for embracing the Divine. Thank you for sharing. Guest guest
Hi Linda I think I can feel this a little, but not all yet. If it's rubbish ignore it you are unable to express yourself to family and friends, they think you are dabbling in the occult, so you keep aspects of your awakening a secret. This caused you an internal conflict(the heart surgeons quarrel) as you desire to share everything and celebrate it but can't. The actor is your father , not as emotional as you would have needed. But now you see the head cut , they were the ideals you tried to live up to all of your life. They were holding you back (car reversing), they are still your base , where you came from, but you are blossoming beyond this.Your path is now your own. love firefly , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > In this dream I was back in time when I babysitted a friend's two children. Guest guest
Well, I have tried to reply to this twice, the first was a long rampling thing and hit the wrong thing, then I tried a shorter version and hit the wrong thing agian and erased it all. So I guess I am not suppose to shared that. I am tried of trying. Purple, I do thank you for your reply to my dream. Some of what you said resonates and some doesn't. I really don't feel it is my family that is holding me back, it is something to do with just me. Or maybe I am not being held back at all, just maybe I am where I am suppose to be at the moment. Shoot! I have had anger in the past for every one of my family members at some point or other. Right now I am not feeling anger towards anyone that I know of at least not consciously. I have gone over and over the forgiving, maybe not for myself enough. I don't know, I really don't. I think the guy driving the car was probably a guide and the actor represented a male authority figure, maybe, but not neccessarily a father. The whole dream was a reversal back in the past thing. It's been a good 15 years since I've seen these people. Those two years spent being friends with them were really all around good years, as far as having no problems. I could safely say they were the best two years of my life, everything was going great for us. It was about the time they moved away, that all hell broke loose and everything about James' and my life changed. The changes that took place at that time had nothing to do with them, though. Dreams are so confusing. *sigh* You know, I just thought of something. This was the same time as the church I was attending totally died from some members wanting this and others wanting that. All the fighting killed the church! Everyone went their own way and I became a hermit. I was so angry at the pastor and his wife at that time for flat out lying to me. I got over it and forgave, though, at least I think I did. I've had and still do not have any desire to go back to church since. Not because of unforgiveness towards any of them, but I just could not find a church that I resonated with. Then all the problems happened and I didn't have time to even think about going to church, anyways. Maybe the severed head represented the dead church. I guess there was a celebration of sort for some of the church family members, they got what they wanted. I don't know if this is what the dream is about either! It was a big turning point in my life. If I had found another church, I probably would not have gotten involved with kundalini/meditation and all. So what? K-ma cut my spiritual support head off to set me free from a dead end road? I was getting on the restless side before it all ended. It sure took a long time to get from where I was to where I am now! Well, I have been sitting here writing for several hours on this. It's time to stopped. I am getting a headache from it all. LOL! I have written three of these long ramblings. The others two were just as bad but about stuff totally different. I haven't even gotten to Bruce's post, yet. My third eye is throbbing, it time for a walk.
