Guest guest
Yes there are many scary stories of people going crazy and having terrible experiences with regard to the Kundalini and once again this is due to many fears being amplified by Kundalini and of the individual not being in a position to incorporate some safety protocols. As far as it taking 20 or 30 years no this is one of the many myths. And yet inside some of the schools for Kundalini awakening they have it structured so that it does take that long. It merely isn't required to take that much time to have a safe and sane awakening of the Kundalini. I have assisted many people upon this path safely and with the experiences of bliss intertwined with self knowledge. It is best to have an authentic teacher or guide within the Kundalini process. Kundalini can open wonderful and extreme vistas of love and bliss and ecstasy. It can bring one enlightenment and phenomena that isn't just wishful thinking or make believe. It is a very real expression and is very tactile upon the physical, emotional, mental, psychological and spiritual bodies of expression. Kundalini is a " vertical path " of learning. Exalted gifts of phenomena also accompany the Kundalini awakening. Telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience, discerning of non physical consciousness as well as direct " knowing " and healing and many other skill sets. These are always to be used in the loving service for others. And they are mere tool kits and not to be fixated or obsessed upon. Kundalini in my experience of it is one of the first gates of which one passes through for the beginnings of " Enlightenment " upon the complete human being. By complete I am referring to all of the bodies of expression as previously mentioned. Enlightenment cannot be completely understood by the limited mental conscious mind. It is as much an activity upon the physical body as it is a light of expanded consciousness within the mental framework. Same with the emotional, spiritual bodies of awareness. The ego consciousness may actually try to run from this experience due to its fear of the unknown. There are many, many aspects of the Kundalini that are absolutely joyful!! And if fear is allowed to creep into the equation, as is normal, there can be some very challenging experiences as well as one learns how to walk without fear. This is an entire school of education in and of itself. Imagine walking through your life without fear. Think of how that would feel. How would your life be changed? This is what Kundalini also brings as we cannot become enlightened and still have fear! So the Kundalini Consciousness will help us come into balance with our own personal fears. Sometimes this is scary! Most times it is a relief. Most of the fear dominated stories of Kundalini are in this part of its teaching given to us. And without guidance it can be a very difficult path as not everyone will understand the teaching methods offered by the Kundalini and will instead insert more fear into their personal equation. It is well worth the effort if you can find a Guru or guide or teacher to assist you in all aspects of the awakening but please be aware. In our present society there exist individuals who are attempting to cash in on the powerful aspects of Kundalini without even having its expression within them! They have gone on the internet and have read this or that and have decided that they can go ahead and charge enormous sums of money and pass themselves off as a Guru or teacher. Be very discerning. One sacred book that members here may be familiar with - lol! - states that " By their fruits shall you know them! " This can be very helpful. Do your research on that teacher. Be careful and commit to the time and research that allows you the most information about what they espouse and how they espouse it. I advise you to find one that has authentic experiences and teaches a modality of having Kundalini while still living a western life. Unless you really want to live in India which is indeed a wonderful country or another country not of the western expression. Choose wisely and your diligence will be richly rewarded! - blessings to all on this blessed group! - chrism
