Many paths lead to the Great Path Majitha. Hindu, Christian, Buddhism, Islam,

and many others. These can indeed influence us from there past worship inside of

our present incarnation.

You are aware of the Om Shanti because you know that as you come into the

Kundalini expression that this provides the frequencies of safe and secure

expression of the divine. Not that any of the other belief systems do not but

merely because this is the one from " your " past experience that does. It

resonates with aspects of you that you may not be aware of at this time. -

blessings to you Majitha. - chrism

I also dis yoga postures and cannot imagine how i did it even. yet though i chant Om Shanthi i still have some fear reagarding hinduism. May be that lifetime i had some bad experience. I don't know so even though i do these in hinduism i still am scared or may bebecause i see the pictures of deities and God and some carrying weapons. And also ever since i read the book of revelation where it says Jesus having swords in the mouth etc i am terrified. So sometimes i think of Buddha. But i always love Jesus very much.

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you'll help them to become what they are capable of becoming.

The double edge sword coming from Jesus mouth is just symbolic of his separating

truth from non-truth. The sword represents truth and coming from his mouth....

Jesus is the said to be the logos/the word. It just represent his speaking forth

truth or better is truth speaking forth. No need to be frightened of it.

" I don't know so even though i do these in hinduism i still am scared or

weapons. " The images of Hindu deities carrying tridents and swords are symbolic of them cutting away ignorance and protecting their human children from ignorance and what comes from it. If you see any one of them holding a severed head it is a demon's head signifies that ignorance. There is nothing to fear... rather look on it as compassionate love from the gods.
