Guest guest
this is so beautiful tiffany.. it's in us all, from the start.. but there's so much pain and constrictions that takes over as one grows up.. I live in a large family.. we are nine in all, and I have 6 siblings that are younger then me... well, one day, my mom started saying to the little ones in the house " ti amo " , I love you... in italian it is not used as much as in english. we have " ti voglio bene " that is less strong, used in family and friend interactions, whereas ti amo is generally reserved for lovers, and has a more powerful connotation to it. it was amazing, these little children, particularly my smallest little brother immediately ponced on it.. he was two at the time. he sensed the strangth of the frase, how yes, it felt right and started using it himself.. hed just come up to you and hug your legs and smile up at you and say " lo sai che ti amo. " you know that I love you. and it was so beautiful, it started spreading thoughout the family.. now my 15 year old brother says it too, and everyone... of course it's easyer with the small ones, but it's spreading. there is so much fear and reserve in expressing love and closeness, so many boundarys set out of hurt and habit... I clearely remember when I grew " too old " to be cuddled.. the feeling of somethng freezing up, starting to avoid contact out of not being used to it anymore, feeling it as a risk of I dont know what.. feeling it was exposing me too much. let's learn to spread the love! I want to learn that! freely, for no reason other then the warmth it generates inside me... the smile that cant hold back, the happy tears that come to the eyes... love!! lucia , " Tiffany " <Tiffany wrote: > I remembered how years ago I had read second sight by Edmund Harold. The world was before me – I started to see other people, doing the same, all across the world – some of us in groups, in circles, circles within circles and I realised that love, the powerful energy of love and healing, if enough of us are awakened, would save and heal this planet. > > I was sure of it – I felt it as a `truth'. Guest guest
What a beautiful post! Do you feel that - the spreading - the child awakening to love and to expressing love. A gift from the mother. And the sister feeling her lack and going in search of love. Cleaning up the little blocks and typing in some words and spreading the love again. Back and forth - the love cloth!! Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning - shining brighter and more lustrous for every time it moves from north to south, from east to west. I'm with you! -- In , " lari.lu " <lari.lu wrote: > well, one day, my mom started saying to the little ones in the house " ti amo " , I love you... in italian it is not used as much as in english. we have " ti voglio bene " that is less strong, used in family and friend interactions, whereas ti amo is generally reserved for lovers, and has a more powerful connotation to it. > > it was amazing, these little children, particularly my smallest little brother immediately ponced on it.. he was two at the time. > he sensed the strangth of the frase, how yes, it felt right and started using it himself.. hed just come up to you and hug your legs and smile up at you and say " lo sai che ti amo.
