Guest guest Posted August 16, 2009 Report Share Posted August 16, 2009 Dear Chrism, I wake up early in the morning, after brushing and other morning rituals,I go to my old flat at 0650 A.M. I keep few bread or chapatis for the birds exactly at 0700 A.M. I recite Ganesha stotra do White light meditatation,chant 195 Yoga sutras,15th chapter of Bhagvat Gita ,Hanumanstotra . Unless I do as above I do not eat or drink,(no morning tea for me) In the evening unless I perform meditation I do not have my dinner. I do not know to write or read Sanskrit but by just by hearing audio cassete I have learnt them by heart.Like children who know their maths table I can recite these sutras at will.Whenever I have free time instant chanting starts automatically.My Guru has told me if I had not been satvik/pious these sutras would have adverse effect on me;like Mantra given to wrong person can create havoc.I speak truth and only truth because I do not wish what I have earned in spirituality to go in drain.I reside in a city which has population of 40 lakhs,but those who can recite these sutras are rare & can be counted on fingers.My thoughts and comments are my own; oiginal and not borrowed from any source.If I quote from books I give their reference.Being student of science I can not use flowery language but I like to be to the point and am straightforward, one day my boss was talking about easy money.I asked him 'why was he taking bribe then ? You should practise what you preach.'
