Guest guest
Hello all, I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful and insightful replies to my posts regarding my excellent weekend in the woods and some phenom I experienced there. I am learning a lot about the K and even more about myself by just " shutting up " lol and being alone in the woods. I can't stress the love I have of late evening, night and early morning in the tent in the woods. Well, daytime too lol, but I just love the smells and sounds of the woods at night. Except what sounded like hyenas this past weekend lol, but were probably coyotes way off in the distance somewhere. When I'm walking in the woods whether hiking in, out or just wandering peacefully, I imagine myself as a walking large light bulb for lack of better term. I imagine that all the forest creatures enjoy me there as much as I enjoy being there. So I wanted to clarify something that I feel needs, well, clarified lol. When I hear the bees or the ringing or the ghost wind or the purply swirling lights during meditation, it would be very easy to jump to conclusions and say " that's K " , all the time. The dragonfly that metamorphisized right above my tent a few trips ago, that would be easy to say " that's K " , and so on, which they likely are, but I don't want to be quick to judge everything that happens to me as a K phenom. Oops, I dropped my brush, " that's K! " or I found a penny, " that's K! " , or I hit two green lights in a row, " that's K! " , you know what I mean. So my personality is the type to doubt and scrutinize and not be blindly assuming. So I guess what I'm getting at is, I write to the group when things happen (sometimes) to seek input as to if it could be a K phenom or just a normal day occurrence or complete coincidence. I know what you're going to say, " there are no coincidences " and I believe that most of the time, but something as little as a bird crapping on my motorcycle helmet (true story) I don't want to jump and say " that's my K " lol. Sorry this went on long, I just can't stop " feeling " the woods even as I get back into the daily grind. Love, Bill PS. Elektra, I absolutely LOVED your comment about " Criz " ! I laughed so hard I almost peed myself :^)
