White on White

I woke from this dream this morning. It was a non-lucid dream because I did not

realize I was dreaming until I woke up. It seemed so very real. I was out

walking and I came to an area that I had been to before, but I only stood at the

edge and looked all the area all the previous times I had gone there. It was a

valley of white, white powdery sand as far as I could see. I was afraid of going

into it. I think I may have been afraid because once out in West Texas, the

first time I had a visit to the sand hills there, I had gone out a ways into the

sand and was caught out there when a strong wind began to blow. I sand was

sufficating me and could not open my eyes. If James had not came out and rescued

me, I think I would have been buried alive out there. The sand was shifting

fast.

 

Anyways, this time I decide I would go on down into this valley of sand. Off to

the right there was two people way out there at a distance. There was a trail to

the left where a person could walk down and so I did. I walked all the way

across until I see a form, a building and I walked towards that. The building

was make of white stone so it was not very noticable. When I got there there

were several tunnel like rounded entrances and I went in the first one. On both

side inside this, there was what looked like stalls, no doors though, just

divided sections on both sides all the way through to the other side. When I

finish going through that, there was another smaller valley going down, but at

the bottom of this I could see a river and a little bit of greeney along the

river edge made it stand out from all the white.

 

As I got closer to the river I saw two girls getting into the water. The had on

bathing suits, but it looked more like an outfit that cheerleaders use to wear.

The suits were white with a cloth belt tied and hanging down from the waist.

There was a gold symbol on the front, but I was not close enough to make it out.

 

I said hello to them and ask them would it be OK if I got into the water. I

didn't know if I was traspassing on someone's private property or if was OK for

the public to go there. They looked my way for a second, but didn't speak, then

turn and continue swimming down the river. I stood there looking around,

undecided rather it would be ok for me to get in or not. I looked to the left

from the direction the river was flowing from and there was a bankment of white

rocks and the water was bubbling up from those rocks. I then looked to the right

and there is a bend in the river and a lot of green bushes was in that area and

I could hear and see something splashing the water there. The two girls seemed

to be swimming towards the bend.

 

The water was crystal clear, I could see the bottom from all directions, it was

made of the white rock, too. I could not tell how deep it was. There were no

fish or anything in the water, just pure clear flowing water. I want to get in

and did finally put my feet in. It was cool and refeshing, but I only got as far

as putting my feet in! I then woke up, like instant awake.

 

Any help in interpting would be welcome.

 

LOL! I sort of suspect what was splashing the water down there was a huge snake.

I see it as an adventure into your purity. Pure waters, pure white sands, white

rocks, and girls wearing white outfits with gold. All signs of purity and light

and a sense of coming into a sacredness. A Shakti serpent would not be out of

place and the gold on the girls can give you an idea of what brought you that

dream.

 

White in this case would designate a " purity principle " not an assumption of

being pure by its mere color. As you point out, pure white sand can choke the

Thanks chrism for your interpt, it was pleasant to have a nice dream for a

change. Mine have been mostly on the dark side lately. Maybe next time I visit

this dream scene I will be allowed to get completely submerged in the water and

meet with the snake. I am wondering if it would be white too or maybe green.

White means purity, rebirth, higher conciousness and even sometimes death (death

of the old to make way for the new)

Clear water means you have reached a good place emotionally, as water =

emotional body.

You are growing and changing and reaching new places within but perhaps you are

still a little tentative or cautious (not a bad thing) testing the water of this

new place you are reaching to make sure its ok to be there?

Thanks Elektra, I did have the feeling of not knowing if I really belonged

there, especially after speaking to the two girls and they looked my way, but

did not say anything. I did feel good being there though and was wanting to know

what was at the bend in the river. If I had not awakened from sleep, I think I

would have gone on into the water. It must not have been quite time for me yet.
