Guest guest
Can anyone tell me what is meant by " threefold death " and if it has any relevance, significance here. It's one of those odd things that floated into my vision/thoughts. Thank you. -Danielle
Guest guest
I have never seen or heard of the phrase before, but when I looked at it, I thought of detachment; from the world, from family and friends, and from egoic self. Guest guest
Thank you Chrism. I wiki'd it after it popped into my head, but it's not fitting together. I'll sit with it and see if it makes sense down the road. The wiki description isn't clicking for me, my brain cannot grasp it in the context I'm needing to. It's like a splinter in my thoughts now. Thank you. -Danielle , " " <> wrote: > > In the classical reference: > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threefold_death >

Guest guest
Three fold death is self implicited. Some higher spiritual beings after completion of their job on the earth clasp death by their own wishes.Aadi shankaracharya vanished in space & Saint Tukaram also. One Yogi in Swami Ram's book immeresed himself in a river,Saint Dyaneshvar wilfully took sanjeevan samadhi under ground. Some Yogis by activation of sacral chakra can create fire which turns them in to ashes. In short it depends on which element they have mastered i.e. earth, water, fire, space etc............shrikant --- On Wed, 26/8/09, <> wrote: <> Re: What is threefold death? Guest guest
Christ had the three fold death didn't he? odin too.. the willing sacrifice for our sins. It is every hero committed enough to the quest they are willing to sacrefice themselves for it. The sacrifice and the threefold death being . Letting go of attatchments , surrendering and passivity. why? for resurection, undertaking acts of personal sacrifice in order to achieve one's own higher spiritual good. To see beyond the veil purple. , " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon wrote: > > Can anyone tell me what is meant by " threefold death " and if it has any relevance, significance here. Guest guest
Greetings, Danielle wrote: > Can anyone tell me what is meant by " threefold death " and if it has any relevance, significance here. Another possible meaning of " threefold death " to offer up is in relation to the body, mind and spirit in relation of course to the chakras and kundalini. A profound alchemical reaction occurs within our triunal being. We may feel like we have indeed died and have been reborn. =) Love and Light, StarStuffs
