Guest guest
In olden days the aspirants were " required " to live with the teacher for a number of years, so that the Guru could study the students thoroughly. The food during practice, what to practice and how, whether the students are qualified for the path of Kundalini, and the temperament of the aspirants and other important items would have to be considered and judged by the teacher. So consider what it is we are doing here. It is a less strict environment. I cant fit you all in my trailer.- lol! But there are some similarities. Guest guest
So consider what it is we are doing here.... good question.. Do I want super powers , answer blimey no!!, infact i could probably be even happier without the ones i have. Do i want to astral travel? , they were fun but since i ripped the scene and discovered the void behind it , i just cant get into those any more.As i see it we all become dissolved and re-absorbed back into the womb of the mother. We become nothing , and im at peace with that eventually(although that one really took a while). Do i want to find truth, well that is and always has been here within, just let everything unreal fall off, even bliss.Allow yourself to fall to nothing and there is truth. In life im satisfied, my void that before screamed with desire and thirst for knowledge and wisdom is filled. I know i am that and it is me. So what am i doing here? I have no reasons but to watch the visions of Lila before me, the universe experienced as arising from the joyous love play and creative adventures of the divine...and goodness it's so very interesting.. Guest guest
The stars and planets in this desert sky were amazing this morning. They pulsated and throbbed like a heart beat...orange, blue, white pulses. I thought of the Buddha boy footage and " feeding off the sun " ...if one can do that from the stars, I think I just drank in their nectar for breakfast. I flipped through the photos posted and was transported elsewhere by the various diagrams...especially the Vesica Pisces which makes my heart flutter and my forehead throb. I was in this " wow " zone, breathing in and out the experience, and then came across the " Lost and Found " photo, and burst out laughing…read Deb's healing post and was filled with so much joy. That's what I'm here for-the nourishment that the group provides to me, individually and collectively, the nourishment that I receive that aids in my growth and strength so that I stand tall and spread my branches wide, and yet be one within the forest amongst you. blessings -Danielle , " " <> wrote: > So consider what it is we are doing here. > > It is a less strict environment. Guest guest
Hey Purple, respect and love to you I'm going to state this in my own perception because that's the filter I've been given. If I were in this position and given gifts from the Great Spirit, and being happier without them, I would check inside and discover why I would want to throw away any gifts instead of embracing it all. The truth is, now I have no super powers or anything like that, but if I were given them, there would be a reson why I was given them, and I would ask my Inner Presence what can I use them for and trust that my Inner Presence will bring about the outer circumstances to learn. And yes we're not supposed to focus on any siddhis because they can distract us, but at the same time we're given a gift and unless we intend to learn how to use them for the benefit of others, we won't truley know how to use them for service. Everything, everything is happening on purpose for our own growth, there are no accidents and until we embrace it all, we won't be able to see it... love to you, and this is coming from a guy who's way behind on the path to you... craig , " purple_firefly111 " <purple_firefly111 wrote: > > So consider what it is we are doing here.... > > good question.. > Do I want super powers , answer blimey no!!, infact i could probably be even happier without the ones i have. > > Purple > >
Guest guest
ah, just thought of an analogy: we're given a spoon. Now it would be very distracting if once we're given a spoon if we use it for everything and start believing that the spoon is who we've become now, we finally made it!!!(the ego triumph, lol). But instead of doing that and instead we open ourselves and intend to learn it's use, then we learn that it's to stir the soup. We can put it down when the soup is finished, and we also have the freedom to pick it back up to stir the next soup, and so on...We don't start believing that it's who we've now become finally, lol, but we use it when its needed and have been given the wisdom to see when the soup needs stirring. hope that makes since, this is coming from my perspective... love craig , " phoenix.ing9 " <phoenix.ing9 wrote: > > Hey Purple, respect and love to you > I'm going to state this in my own perception because that's the filter I've been given. Guest guest
greatly enjoying your perspective phoenix.ing9.Thank-you for the invite to examine my process more closely. my crime is time i have 5 kids ages 4 -12 ,run a sizable business and a farm.My answers have to be quick and off the top of my head. I rarely even get the time to put capitals in what i write, never mind spelling or grammar lol.A quick answer ofen paints an incomplete picture.I come to list during my night time innsomnia or when i'm cooking lunch for my kids, (today is rogan josh curry , that's good theres time as the meat cooks.....) In truth I am deeply greatful to spirit for gifts given. What would be more truthful is my frustration with my way of working with them. They have taken me and served me to the point i have today. They allowed me to see. I have tried for many years to alter peoples lives for the better, only to discover that even if you do change it for them temporarily the cards begin to stack up on them again , and again until they learn the lessons themselves. the scots have a saying " whats for ye , will no go by ye " meaning if theres a lesson to be learned in life learn, it you will. The times i've managed to make a real change has been when I have helped people to see where the lesson lies, and help them to see it.These times are rare and end up a lesson as much for me as it is for them !As it should be too, we are all fractils , the universe and us have no begginning middle or end and neither do the lessons. There is no behind or forward on this fern leaf.. When healing someone you are really healing yourself.(i don't mean this in a bad way , or a selfish way, the best gift we can be in the world is ourselves healed.) (When someone presents to me for help, I have to surrender to the fact that they have appeared in my consciousness because there is an aspect in myself that needs this help. In curing myself I too am curing them.) Guest guest
I love this! It reminds me of the saying give a man a fish and he'll eat for one day, teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime, or something to that nature...But it is a hard thing to do, if someone were to tell me to start the practices that I'm doing now that would really help me 2 years ago, I wouldn't have done them... It takes me repeatedly putting my hand on the burner of the stove until I realize, hey maybe I should stop, lol! that's probably has to be the hardest part of parenting, and the hardest part of the spiritual teacher..watching the mistakes the student makes and knowing that nothing (s)he can do to stop the student's suffering until the student finally learns the lesson. craig , " purple_firefly111 " <purple_firefly111 wrote: > > > I have tried for many years to alter peoples lives for the better, only to discover that even if you do change it for them temporarily the cards begin to stack up on them again , and again until they learn the lessons themselves. > the scots have a saying " whats for ye , will no go by ye " > meaning if theres a lesson to be learned in life learn, it you will. > > The times i've managed to make a real change has been when I have helped people to see where the lesson lies, and help them to see it.These times are rare and end up a lesson as much for me as it is for them !As it should be too, we are all fractils , the universe and > us have no begginning middle or end and neither do the lessons. There is no behind or forward on this fern leaf.. > > When healing someone you are really healing yourself.(i don't mean this in a bad way , or a selfish way, the best gift we can be in the world is ourselves healed.) > > (When someone presents to me for help, I have to surrender to the fact that they have appeared in my consciousness because there is an aspect in myself that needs this help. Guest guest
Hi Craig, not everyone goes back to their old ways after such a life changing experiences. One of my brothers had heart surgery about 20 years ago, and he went from eating steaks in resturants most everyday to growing his own food. I don't know why my other brother had to have heart surgery a couple of years ago, he has always grown his own food. So one's heart problems may not be the results of a person just eating wrong or right. Some major life threatening thing like that does tend to change most people I would think. Guest guest
hi phoenix your never sticking your nose in your are most welcome, and i enjoyed it. now heart failure, the actual food is a small part of it, (anyone French on the list?) I have noticed the French can consume great slabs of butter, cream and red meat with no weight gain whilst remaining healthy!...they believe in the joi de vive, the joy of life and i think this is what makes the differance. The shock of someones impending doom , can open their eyes and make the necessary changes to life to cure the other bodies we have, the physical, emotional, mental ,spiritual bodies. MDs take care of the physical, quite often masking symptoms with pills. This dosen't cure. (some mds are awakening too .. good news:))But the person begins exersize , diet change, working with the physical body etc. Then when faced with death , they look about at their life, and lets say they change the stressful job they hated to following their bliss in a job the loved, then the riples would radiate out to their emotional , mental, and physical bodies. This is of course but a simplified explaination of the long journey the person would go through.I call these wake up call illnesses , the initiation by fire. As they must be surrendered to. You quite often find that with an illness if you surrender into it completely , the illness leaves. The pain leaves.. You wrote " I have my reasons for healing now, they may change, " and this is absolutely right and proper that you do , I had to walk through at least 10 years of being involved trying to help children that coulden't talk and were disabled..and you know you can't skip that walk , you have to travel it. And that's perfect too.. I have seen some amazing miracles, too, so will you... enjoy purple , " phoenix.ing9 " <phoenix.ing9 wrote: > > thanks for your perspective Purple > I see where you're coming from. Guest guest
hey Linda yeah I guess that was a bad example...lol. These sort of life threatening illnesses can be a great teacher for most people and not to discredit that. I should have come up with a better example, but can't think of any right now...I would never think that helping to save one's life would be a waste, it's a blessing to help give someone a second chance. And I agree with you that it's not all a result of a person's eating habits. love craig , " danceswithcats999 " <crazycats711 wrote: > > Hi Craig, not everyone goes back to their old ways after such a life changing experiences.
