Guest guest
Just a thought based on seeing someone elses posts and my own observations. Is there a reason this is all done through and not just as a forum on the website? is set up so badly for large groups, two dozen posts and someones comments have disappeared 5 pages back never to be seen again. Forums can have stickied posts, different sections and subheadings etc. Just wondered why thats something we dont do. I find it difficult to post here because I feel more and more lost in the huge number of threads, feels kinda detatched! Love to all Andy x
Guest guest
hi andy look above where it says messages, and on the same line you will find in brackets group by topic, maybe that might help purple , " andyrpreston " <andyrpreston wrote: > > Just a thought based on seeing someone elses posts and my own observations. Guest guest
I do not find it difficult to read the posts here but then I have been doing it for a few years. I have the digest sent daily sometimes 2-4 come - I look at the topics and who wrote them and if I am interested I read them and once I click on the one- at the bottom there is the full thread. I do not do many groups - actually only the KAS groups but I have visited other forums and it seems to me they just run on and on - I am not familiar with the one you mentioned. The group is growing and there will be more posts coming as people ask ?s - I have been here for two years now and there are so many members who used to post all the time who do not now and just drop in now and then - life changes as we all know and there are times that the group is more of an interesting read - other times it is paramount to asking ?s and learning. I wish all could find a comfortable manner to read and weed thru - there is just so much info here and much of it is important to keep on a steady path - Blessings e
Guest guest
Hi Andy, I do understand what you mean, when I first came here I was lost, because I was only used to the type of forums you speak off. I did finally get used to it here after a while. Hehe! I just read online and use search when I want to find a long ago post. It is hard to find at times and can take a lot of time, though. 'sigh' Every once in a while someone uses the same word for starting a topic and it is added to the post wrote from way back at the beginning. I have noticed too, that sometimes those old post gets replied too as though they were just written. LOL! It is all fun. I finally just decided to save all the post that really resonated with me and put them in a file on my computer, but now I have so many they are lost there. When Gabriel get his site going, maybe that will help get the post organized so we can find them quicker. I guess not everyone cares to go back and re-read posts. Guest guest
Some great suggestions, I will try them out and see if they help! You would be surprised to hear that I'm normally pretty computer literate, I think its just that completely defeats me hehe! Blessings to you on this sunny (for a change) morning!
