Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I haven't posted much for a while, especially about myself because I've been (to me) in limbo. I've been a spiritual slacker for quite some time now and I am realizing the wisdom in chrism's advice to " go slow! " Every time I truly focus I usually end up peeking into this vast realm where all SORTS of things are possible, and my body just KNOWS it. So for the last year or so I've been trying to come to grips with the full implications of what this path means. To be honest, the responsibility is what scares me the most. No longer can I hide, no longer can I just ignore what is difficult once I fully step on to this path. Shared consciousness? Seeing the full impact of your actions or inactions upon others. Feeling the full impact of others upon yourself... Part wonderful, part scary (for me right now). So I'm getting ready. I'm gearing up to fit it all in my perception, and prepare my psyche/ego so it doesn't crumble under the change! I'm glad to have a community of people already deep into their K path who will be able to help me through the maze! I'll share one anecdote that comforted me at the time, and comforts me still. As I stared into the possibilities that lie ahead and was daunted I stated/asked a friend " Its all been done before right? " The answer, " Of course. " So there is no need to worry, no need to fear. Its been done before and it will be done again -Gabriel
Guest guest
Hi Gabriel, Really enjoyed reading your post. So you've been peeking into the vast realm...yes? (: What you wrote is very insightful ... coming from one who loves to hide under the covers or get lost in the forest when the going gets tough...and I know...it doesn't work and yet....(: You are right...No hiding from ourselves...Who made up that rule? I like what you quoted " Its all been done before and will be again " My friend always says, " Life's a game so enjoy it. " Just surrender...then the water is smooth... That's what else I remind myself... Glad you're feeling good about leaving Limboville... We'll all be looking forward to hearing from you. Guest guest
Hi Gabriel: It's nice to hear of your movement and 'stride'; nice to see your post. Perhaps a little tip to take along, from my own personal experience, is that in the maze awaits many treasures; the maze itself is your guide and not an obstacle. (I'm still figuring that out.) Be sure to bump into the hedges from time to time...at a MINIMUM your firefly friends will assist in lighting the way. I like your maze metaphor! I'll keep a look out for the fireflys and do my best to open my heart to them. -Gabriel , " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon wrote: > > Hi Gabriel: > It's nice to hear of your movement and 'stride'; nice to see your post. Even your hard times are spun into a learning experience that points us all back up Quick question, have you found that you've developed the capacity to maintain a positive attitude more often and consistently over the years in every situation? -Gabriel , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > spread those angel wings and fly Gabe! love ya elektra x x x > > > > >
Guest guest
I have been cultivating a constant positive attitude since i was about 17/18 and i began understanding unconditional love and forgiveness. Its been a constant learning process for me. I have had my ups and downs over the years, (I'm 34 by the way) at times I have become consumed in dark thoughts, only to come out the other side again much stronger in the light. Its about thought control, being the master of your emotions. Control your manifestation.I understand the power every human has and so see it as my responsibility to add as much light to the world as possible. Fear is False. Only love is real. Thats my philosophy. :-))Also, a great sense of love and faith in God has filled me for many years and it never leaves me, this sense keeps me on the up and over rides everything else as I know God has me in His/Her loving hands, always. Hugs and thanks for asking, elektra x x x Quick question, have you found that you've developed the capacity to maintain a positive attitude more often and consistently over the years in every situation? -Gabriel
