Guest guest
Dear chrism, I just discovered that a school of Philosophy in my area is offering a Sanskkrit resedential Weekend Scranskrit and Sound seem to be new attraction for me so I was not suprised when I saw this upcoming week end. I have booked my place.. Some of the activities include .....discovering how easy it can be to speak sanskrit.... ......reciting and studying verses from the Bhagavad Gita.... ......examining the philosophy of language and sound... .......practicing mantra chanting... The quote at the end of the brochure says " The Sanskrit language is there, pure and clean, unhampered or distorted by anyone, and it can mirror the laws of the uiniverse to anyone " quote from Shri Shantananda Saraswati. Does this sound like a good thing to attend? or is it mixing other ideas and information that I do not need to be distracted by at the moment? Your thoughts would be much much appreciated. |Love Julia. I
