Then all of a sudden I had this flash and you were making something....like crafts or needlepoint or crochet or something you were creating...So just wondering if you do any of this stuff or if its something that makes you happy - you know when you create and give how that makes you feel inside... Don't know why that came to me - GOd is still trying to figure out what goes through this head...but thought I would share it with you. Throwing you a chi ball! Guest guest Posted October 7, 2009 Report Share Posted October 7, 2009 Makes sense Deb, I used to do all that and some. And just this week began to get into some painting. It felt good. I am not so sure that is what caused the depressed feelings though. Just today the depressed feeling tried to come back. I have no reason to be depressed as far as I know. I just had a thought though as while writing this. It could be just the situation the world is in, I am an empath and could be picking up what is in the collective thought. Many people are worried and concerned. In fact, I think that just may be it, I have been sending out to the whole world on days my energy gets strong or when ever I think about. To create through whatever means inspires you and to allow your Shakti/Goddess to come through while doing it and in that way that which you create has been shaktified (: (do you love how i make up words?) Like says when we touch something like a doorknob allowing the shakti to place her energy and then others come and touch the doorknob that which can be received will. (or something like that ha) So that which comes through you wants to be expressed and in your expressing ... be it a painting or whatever...is always there and in some way this divinity through your creativity reaches out to others. I know what you mean about picking up that mass consciousness vibration or whatever you want to call it. I feel this and at times can bring me down. Maybe thats why I like going to the forest so much because in nature or music or anything that gives inspiration and beauty I am more connected. So I seek out these things so that I feel better and also because the divinity then when I'm not blocked comes out so much stronger for me...so maybe instead of others bringing us down this helps to lift them up - Anyway, I think that came to me to tell you and I for one would love to see a painting or anything that you do or anyone here because I know that which flows in you sparks that which is in us all. Many people are worried and concerned. Linda, Have you been following the state of the world in the media (tv, radio, newspapers, internet)? That would depress anybody! As an experiment, you might try completely eliminating all access to current events for a few weeks and see if your inner state improves. This is kind of extreme, but for a few weeks, it should help you see if this is the cause of the problem. I find that I can keep well enough up on the news by scanning the headlines on every few days. Once every week or two, I'll read deeper and read some articles in various newspapers online. I find if I follow the news too closely I become very agitated. (anger, fear, depression, despair, etc.) Same thing with focusing on/thinking about other people - if you think about people who are not happy, you pick up their mind-state and start to think it is your own. (It becomes your own if you stay in it.) Not saying you shouldn't send love and energy to the world or to others - just think it should be possible to do so without dwelling on them inwardly. Thanks David for you reply. I do not watch TV, but it is on when my hubby is here and he seems to turn it to the news when I am cooking. I think he like to hear me make comments! Hehe! But no I do not pay much attention and mark TV news as mostly propoganda. It mostly just hear various people making comments about this or that. I could be picking it up from some of my family members. Some have been going trough some rough stuff lately. Usually when one of them pop into my mind throughout the day I just send them some thought of love, joy, and peace about their situation and then send a quick prayer on their behalf. I don't dwell on their problems, at least not consciously, so really don't think it that. After that came to me last night, I really just feel it could be coming from the collective consciousness. How would a person counter balance that? Just send good affirmations out for that as well I guess.
