Guest guest
Hi, Bill! I had that urge a few months ago and it led me to volunteering in a hospital. I was torn about doing that as I am so anti-allopathic medicine now but in the end the argument won that said then why " SHOULDN " T " you be there, exactly because you know there is more than what's offered at a hospital? Think of all those people who could use just a touch of your light? Unlike you, though, I'm not squeamish (much). But when I got there, there were so many jobs to do, from assisting families who have a loved one there, to just sitting and reading to a person who isn't able to do that and just wants some company. There is transport, wheeling someone around or to their car if they are discharged. There is in-house courier service. There is pet therapy, which seems like it would be very gratifiying. After being interviewed, I was placed in Medical Records as I have some experience with that and am very proficient in clerical things. I interact with staff but don't see patients directly. But I feel my energy going out to all those souls in need and I think of them as I sort files, etc. and see the patients' names and conditions. You might also look into food banks. There is a great need here for help in sorting, packaging and distributing to needy families. Or community gardens that teach people how to plant and harvest wholesome food and gives back to the community, esp. those in lower income brackets. My 2 cents for now. I'm sure others will contribute. Hope you find the right thing for you. You will be guided if you can hear/feel the guidance. I was a bit slow, I must admit, but it got through in the end. LOL Good luck and I know you will enjoy whatever you choose. Just give with all your Light! With love, Valarie
