Guest guest
/Chrism/Zinnia/ALL: I wish not to take up post space for this, so please email me if that is a better route...but I've been wondering if there is any sort of " wish list " of needs for and the KAS-1 group. Is there a list of supplies, time, services, designated donations that we can refer to? I imagine at this point any donation is strictly to keep and the group afloat. Are there other ways we can assist too? Is financially the most helpful? I donate when I am able, it is not much based on my salary, but I too would like to be able to arrange seminar scholarships etc. I feel that there are ways in which I can seek support from the community in which I reside depending upon how I " market " my ask. For instance, I have an upcoming art show in which proceedes will be donated to a charity...there are many educators who will be a part of this gathering and who would jump on the chance to support others in continuing their learning and education etc...but who probably would not directly support KAS because it wouldn't resonate for them. Do you see where I'm going with this? The wheels are turning... Thanks. Danielle
Guest guest
Just to be clear...I don't mean misleading people so that they will donate to " my cause " . I mean receiving support from the larger community (beyond anything I would be able to do on my own) in a way that resonates for them and is meaningful and through avenues that they are wishing to contribute...hence contributing to a scholarship which they believe in and feel good about, which in turn permits those drawn to KAS to have this opportunity.
