Guest guest
Hi everyone, I got a small glimpse of sanskrit over the residential week end. I wanted to go therre because sound has become very dear to me and sanskrit chant particularly. I had the opportunity to chant and it was wonderful, the vibrations fill all the space and accend, the same vibrations are within so the experience was remarkable. I had no idea about the grammer or the rules of the language and the glimpse I got of that has interested me greatly. I hope to spend a bit more time with sanskrit. This week end was organised by a school of philosophy that I have attended and recently went along again. It is a school of practical philosophy so everything is about observing and putting things into practice during the week. The school offers meditation to students who have attendced a certain amount of terms. at a cermony one is given a mantra and one makes a committment to meditate with the mantra for 30 mins each day. I have decided not to attend the cermony and be given the mantra.... arriving at this decision was a very interesting one. Briefly the main meditation man and I spoke over the week end... I found that I did not have great expression around how meditation is for me.... while speaking to him... I did not want to share about Kundalini and later on I realised that I could not then speak from a place of truth for me. My journey home was eventful with thoughts and emotions felt very strongly. I got lost on three occasions driving down from Dublin .... That is almost not possible so I have no idea how that happened..lol! Anyway to cut a long story short ..again.... I decided that the time has come to speak of Kundalini.... to my older children... Back home and I got a phone call out of the blue from an old friend from philosophy and she is calling to have a coffee with me this morning. Yesterday morning the phrase " I will clothe you anew " arrived into my head....it did not arrive from mind chatter... while I did not hear a voice, the phrase was given to me. i am sure I have heard it before so if anyone knows if it is from the bible I would be grateful for feed back. The words felt very definite and there was love and power contained in them. I treasure it. Then a short whiile later another phrase was delivered in the same way " when the call comes you must go " A couple of hours later I got a phone call asking me to join a national execative of a particular organisation..... not at all the call I was expecting! i probably thought it would be a sort of " spiritual " call, but in fact this call is to one of service.... in a way. It requires a big committment to travelling up to Dublin perhaps as often as once a week. I am to contact them today with my answer. do I really have a choice....?? " when the call comes you must go " !! Love Julia.
Guest guest
Sounds as if K Ma has her plan for you...All you have to do is turn up on time :-)) Nice little story, I can see why you didnt go to the meditation, the vibe wasn't there and you didn't need someone else to give you anything, you have it all within yourself all ready. Good luck with the new doors opening. Much love elektra x x x
Guest guest
Julia, I could not find that exact phrase in the bible, but the bible does speak of us being given new bodies that do not die. Garment/clothing in the bible is symbolic for body. 2Cor 5:1-5 /5:1/ For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with human hands, eternal in the heavens. /2/ For in this tent we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling --/3/indeed, when we taken it off we will not be found naked. /4/ For while we are still in this tent, we groan under our burden, because we wish not to be unclothed but to be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. /5/He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. Some of the gnostic books speak of this as well. http://www.faithfutures.org/JDB/jdb037.html Anyways, being given a new body that does not perish is what I am seeing it would mean.
