Guest guest
In this dream I was a girl child wearing a red dress about age 10-12. The red dress was the only color in the dream, the rest of the dream scenery was shades of gray. I was in our house with my parents and one other male person and we were being attacked..shot at through the windows. When the shooting stopped the father character said we would have to leave, because they would be back. So we went out the back way and ran across an field. We came to this area that looked like some disaster had happened there like a huge bomb or asteroid hit the ground...large crater like. There was nothing but ashey gray sand and under the sand was fire, smoke was coming up and out in spots. We stopped and paused at the edge of this for a second, then the father said we had to cross over it, there was no other way. So we all jumb in and began running across. For some reason we were all barefooted or at least I was. The sand was hot but it was not burning my feet. The parent characters were in front and the other person was behind me. There seemed an urgency that we get across quickly. End of dream. I was not aware of any emotions like fear or anything. More like I was just observing the dream rather than in it, especially at the end where I saw I had on a red dress. I felt safe with the parent charcaters in front and the other guy in back of me. It seemed the guy was watching over me so no harm would happen with the shooting or going across the sand. Comments are welcomed. Guest guest
The beginnig sounds like you've been wathching too many westerns You speak of being an emotionless witness in the dream. Basically all my dreams are like that, it's strange. I read trough a coulple of times, but I have no idea what the interpretion could be. Guest guest
Thanks for responding Aarni. It was not a western setting, but more scifi. I used to, long ago...hehe.. did watch a lot of scifi. This is the second black and white dream...shades of gray...that I remember ever having. My dreams are always in color. The first one in black and white freaked me! I was a pilot, driving a space ship. I was a witness in that one, too. The first part I was walking up this rocky mountain, with cliffs, long drops down, no trees. I do have quite a few emotionless witness type dream. Also, a lot of my dreams even as a child before even having TV or seeing a movie had a scifi bent to them. That is why I became interested in the scifi type movie when TV did finally come along. I had lots of flying dreams too and is why when I was about 5 or 6, I was so convinced I could fly I jumped from this tall building (about 12') and landed on my head. I spent days making wings out of various materials and jumped out of many trees. hehe! I don't know how I even survived. I kept my guardian angel very busy. About the only kind of movies I have watched in the past 10 years have mostly been kiddy movie with a few exceptions. My grandson who is almost 16 is the only one I go to the movies with all this time..that is what he likes. Hehe! Just recently we went to see one and he became a little embrassed because he was the oldest cild in the place. Guest guest
" I jumped from this tall building (about 12') and landed on my head. " great story, I know exactly what you are talking of, I was a wild child. Fell so many times I think I should be dead now, and I didn't even think I could fly... Now as my dreams have become wilder (tiger!) after the Shaktipat, I'm quite happy they are the " emotionless witness " type.
