Guest guest
I got Mahabarata from Danielle through e mail and this time it worked. Perhaps the link she sent will work from here, but not sure...Thank you Warren for sending it to Danielle. Perhaps is is posted up before this but if so, no harm done by posting the link again below. Eeek! is my reaction to listening.... I found it very difficult and really wanted to turn it off... I would have if it were not from Chrism....however in some places it was soothing ( perhaps even sweet !!) but only for a fraction of time and then back again came Eeek ! The Eeek was in my head..conflict and pain, I could not feel resolution of movement, it was staying in the same place...eeeek! Sound is really so interesting..... I wonder if I were to listen to it at a different time would the response here be different. I am not sure I can though..lol sorry Chrism. I am starting to realise too that for me sound changes even in the same recording.... well my perception changes..or what comes in varies..... What I mean is when I heard the Moolamantra first it was like WOW. revelation in sound.......the vibrations spoke to my soul or so it seemed to me... then some time later I began to hear the other sounds in the recording... like the drums, for a time these began to impinge negativly I moved out of the Presence of the sound and I couldn't wait for the middle of the recording when the drumming stopped, and only the mantra was heard. Now I am hearing both sounds at the start of the recording and the irritation or conflict has disapated again... some evenings I could nearly swear that the recording is quite different from the previous night.... Mmmm??? Let's just say ..Interesting..lol! I will play the Mahabarata tonight again and see what the response is..... thank you. mahabarata-MP3..mp3 (12486KB) Love Julia
Guest guest
Hi Julia- OOh, sorry to hear of the discomfort in it. I had shared with Linda and Warren last evening that as the afternoon approached I could not listen to it again. It had gone from silly feelings to nearly physically painful and pressing against my skin. Within a few days, I had gone from wow, to tee hee hee, to ouch. Fascinating. I'm appreciative of the ride on its waves though, as the laughter and silliness of imagery such as dancing with ribbons like being in a talent show (though perhaps incongruent with the song) was what my heart was needing. And for this I'm deeply appreciative. The file is too large for . Thank you Warren for actually converting it to MP3, and for attempted it's upload. Love.
