Guest guest
Thank you Shaun, Julia and all. It's meaningful to see how all fits together-how it is the same of which we share, but from difference frames of reference. I am not familiar with scripture, and know not of religious teachings. All I have ever known of the Divine has been taught to me in nature's songs, and from the land and animals. I was trying to figure out why I feel almost agitated sometimes when it comes to religious teaching and such. I think I have felt like and " outsider " who was supposed to have been taught something and was not. But that's not so…the information is the same; it's about being One, and the light of which we all speak of in our personalized experiences that shines within ourselves, in one another and the universe. This morning in meditation, I had an image that was like the face of Christ. And I said to myself, this image I have had a hard time with; But I think I understand better. I understand because I experience the same in the bearded Pansy, the Roses or the light-drenched Irises. I just sat with it; sat with the feeling and was moved into a backbend-like arch with head back and heart open wide. My mind was able to finally settled a bit. I was able to put aside the what ifs and checklists, and just sit in silence. I was guided gently into a position on my side, so that my face was facing east into the morning sun. Simple and beautiful. I layed there like a lizard soaking in the sun and I felt an amazing peace. When I got up, I walked over to the garden which I have not acknowledged these past few days. I noticed the vibrant orange of the Marigolds against the purplish blue Desert trupet flowers, waved my hand across the English Lavender, and down into the Lemon Balm, across the Spearmint, and into the Texas Teragon, and brushed it against the multiples of Basil. I inhaled deeply and felt like I had just been woken from hiberation. It's all the same light of which we speak and experience.
