Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to this group For the past two years I've experienced odd sensations around the head and temple area. It's always accompanied with feelings of anxiety though (in my gut, under the diaphragm). It occurs whenever I am still. It also affects my thoughts, and so I am unable to concentrate. It also causes brain fog and confusion. The sensation of energy is warm, but it covers my forehead and also feels like a bowl covering my head. Sometimes there are tingles. Above my ears it feels like something is pushing there, squeezing my head. I also used to get a very sharp jab at the top of my head. And if I sit with this energy in meditation it causes my throat to itch and eyes to water. What I don't understand is what I am afraid of (anxiety) and why I find it so hard to just let it go? this process with the head seems to be going on forever and it doesn't feel like anything has moved. Guest guest
Hi there bohemian_gipsy, and a very warm welcome to this Group which I feel is the most supportive of places to seek advice regarding the experience of a Kundalini Awakening. Your symptoms, such as the pulsating within your head, the pressure surrounding it and the fogginess of focus, are the actions of the energy that has been sparked into life, in rewiring the intricate brain patterning and the resculpting of surrounding tissues that are necessary to prepare you to safely receive a massive lift in your spiritual energy levels and a quantum leap in the renewed depths and subtlety of your insights into everything and everyone around you. It can occur that as the energy seeks full rotation within our bodies, it strikes blockages that come from long-established feelings of negativity or self-reproach within our circle of relationships, OR from lifestyle irregularities such as unsuitable diet, over-emphasis on satisfying material needs, rigid belief mindsets and (some believe) karmic imprints from past lives. Sometimes these blockages present as anxiety felt specifically within the solar plexus or diaphragm area. Kundalini has its own agenda for each person and individualised timespans for it to run its course in terms of disruptive symptoms. Please be assured, and I know this to be true from my own experience, that you WILL progress and that your anxiety levels and head pressures will ease, if not disappear completely, in the longer term. Day-to-day perceptions can be misleading and sometimes we need to look back over several months to realise how far we've come !! Occasionally the body intuitively senses some things it must do in order to smooth the energy's journey. These actions can take the form of spontaneously-felt restorative muscle movements, changes in sleep patterns, a need for getting closer to nature or for seeking more personal space, a push to increase or cease meditation, experiences of big changes in choices of friendships, interests and diet and the list goes on. The guiding set of love-based principles developed intuitively by Chrism (who founded this Group) and felt to be most helpful by members in assimilating Kundalini energy, is located in the " Safeties " section within the http://www.kundaliniawakeningsystems1.com/ website. I'm sure you will get a lot of help from this site, from and from other members who've undergone your experiences. Much love - John. =================================== You wrote: " Hi, I'm new to this group: For the past two years I've experienced odd sensations around the head and temple area. Guest guest
Hi bohemian gipsy, welcome to the group.... you will find that everyone here experiences " things " in their own unique way but we have very similiar experiences also which is a wonder to know and share. I remember when I first discovered this group it was such a relief and is now a gift that I have come to treasure. You can discover a lot here.. information, comfort, friendship, exxpression, support and love. Chrism is a blessed teacher and as he says so often himself ..it is no accident that you are here. Post questions and express what is happening for you. I have discovered that fear and anxiety can be transformed into Love through acceptance and surrender. Fear is nothing in the presence of Love. Know this to be true as you continue in your unique way to the unfolding with in you. Welcome. Love Julia. , " bohemian_gipsy " <bohemian_gipsy wrote: > > Hi, > > I'm new to this group > > For the past two years I've experienced odd sensations around the head and temple area. Guest guest
Thank you, John, for the detailed insights. So much of my discomforts - around the head especially - have a lot to do with not understanding what is going on (worry). This has helped relieve that. Guest guest
Hi John, Thank you for the warm welcome. What you say makes sense and yes I can see a lot of differences in myself compared to a few years ago and a few months ago. The changes I've made. I really try not to push things and just allow the energy to do as it wills, but I guess I do have issues with my mind not functioning 100% and it doing the things it does. As you do need it in day to day life (or so my ego thinks ). lol.. so, I find it hard to surrender into that. Cheers, Sarah , " " <...> wrote: Hi there bohemian_gipsy, and a very warm welcome to this Group which I feel is the most supportive of places to seek advice regarding the experience of a Kundalini Awakening.
