Guest guest
I spent a lovely evening last night at a Snatam Kaur " concert " ... listening to and also chanting mantras. I read a notice about the concert in the local paper last week and decided to head off on my own. I am not involved at all in yoga here. Snatam Kaur aparently has a huge following in yogic circles.... it was the Kundalini Yoga teachers in Ireland who facilitated her visit here. She is an american singer songwriter... she was 6 when her family first went to India in 1978..her mother studied Kirtan there. I bought a cd and it is lovely to listen to. Listening to her sing and chant does not resonate with me at all in the same way as happens when listening to chrism's voice... but it is very lovely all the same. Love from a mellow Julia. Guest guest
I love her music, I got a couple of her Cd's. I noticed she got good shakti flow in some of her music. I myself am thinking to go see her next month when she comes to San Diego. , Julia Ahern <jajahern wrote: > > I spent a lovely evening last night at a Snatam Kaur " concert " ... listening to and also chanting mantras. > I read a notice about the concert in the local paper last week and decided to head off on my own.
