Guest guest
Hi guys! I am hoping to find out if any of you have any knowings of black cats (or possibly panthers). I ask this because today as Don, my Husband, was on his way back from an interview, that is a bit too far away from home, a cat was hit by a car before he came to it. This happened 20 seconds after I called Don back for something. So as he had his reaction I heard him say " You're not gonna like this but… " (lover of cats here big time). He drove back because he was lost on his way home and had to turn back and go right by the cat again. So he pulled over. Another woman was there blocking the pathway for the cat. Her two dogs waited in the car. They both came to the conclusion that the cat was not going to make it. They each carried the cat (who didn't move at all) carefully to the side of the road. Don left as Animal Control was showing up. Don said the cat was big that at first because it was jumping around like a Mexican bean (his words not mine!) he thought it might be a panther (or a really small one). When he said that I remembered a month or two ago both Don and I driving on the highway (each in our own cars for whatever reason) both heading home and two exits before our house a big black *something* (panther-like) raced across the highway. I was closer than Don and could have sworn that's what it was. But again, not likely in our area but leads me to think I need to figure out symbolism with black cat and/or panthers. I looked up Black Cats and all the lore and one culture believed that by killing a black cat (in a dream) you restore your good luck. So I was hoping and told Don that maybe his bad luck streak (that he feels is a part of his life due to life conditionings) has been killed and is now over! Teehee! Later in the day yesterday, after this incident Don picked up our daugher at her daycare. They have a black cat there. For the first time ever this cat looked straight at Don and started hissing at him. Then a few hours later he noticed a kitten all alone in a McD's parking lot. (His only thought was it won't survive all alone.) He's not really a cat person himself so it perplexes him even more. Mmm... Long story short, if you have any thoughts on these I'd love it if you can share! Blessings, Maggie
Guest guest
Hi Maggie, Funny that you just wrote this as I was just writing about animal signs. For me I would take it as a sign. If you look up black panther symbols or totems or dreams...its really a very great sign! I suppose your husband should read them and see what resonates for him. Its funny I use to get these black cats that would jump in front of my car crossing my path and while I love cats (and my close friend has a black cat that I adore and can't get off me!) I did always take this as a bad sign for myself because that is what my belief was. The part of it crossing right in front of me. So it use to bother me I admit. Although now I look at it quite differently. Then I was going through some hard times and was in a lot of fear about things so my outer world reflected that. Now I think its great because as soon as I start going on a downward spiral (with my attitude and thoughts) wouldn't you know it...a black cat crosses my path! hahaha That makes me STOP doing it right then! I thank God for the sign and start to turn my attitude around. Its really been great for me because there have been times I would be driving at night wondering if I should do something and not knowing the direction to take...so while I would be thinking of say this one option I wasn't sure about - a black cat would dart out in front of my car exactly at that time! How great is that! So to me because its MY belief symbol I take that as a sign and do not choose that path I was thinking about. Again its just my symbol...sometimes when you look up the symbols you get different meanings and the one thats meant for him will pop out at him I think. My friend has the opposite reaction to a black cat crossing for example and for her its the " go " sign. (: But anyway I love it now. Makes me feel I'm getting a communication and helps me in my decisions. Cat symbols are great - it could be a sign of him opening up to something...they walk in both worlds I've heard it said. (: I think its finding what resonates for him - the panther is amazing sign though if you google it you'll be amazed - good fortune many great things!! Also it helps to know what he was focusing on and thinking about as or before he sees the animals. I never grew up thinking about this sort of stuff - but after the k started and birds came swooping at my head to get my attention and repeatedly flying into my windows and so many more animal stuff going on...now I really enjoy these communications! (: Much love Maggie and I love the shows you do with your husband! You are both great to listen to and always put a smile on this face! Thank you! Guest guest
Hi Deb, Thank you so much for the thoughts!!! I love cats and have always told my son (even just last week) that when I see them I think of them as GOOD LUCK, especially those black ones. Makes me smile. So it is funny how each person does interpret it differently. I've passed along your post to my Husband too! I'm sure it will be very helpful. I love the animal synchronicities. They always have so much to share when they cross your path! And since I'm posting away, I wanted to say it's nice to have you back posting!! Love those funny posts and not only that how helpful they are. And thank you so much for the compliments on the radio show. My Husband is such the comedian. You should be there behind the scenes and hear some of the stuff he WANTS to say but can't (just to be sure it is kid friendly and all that). Guest guest
In our family, we consider it good luck when any cat crosses your path, black or otherwise. And with six cats, we get a lot of good luck. Love, David , " Maggie " <a216024 wrote: > > Hi Deb, > > Thank you so much for the thoughts!!!
