Guest guest
Beautiful!! And you learned a new dance and song! How wonderful! Thank you for sharing your story about Coyote-Dog. The owl sitting over the " mass/lumps " was very symbolic. Wow. I love hearing the owl sing. I hear it nearly every night now, it seems most often up the hill/street from my house so I think it's nest is there but it visits our rooftop pretty often and I always have a little thrill when I hear it sing. Lovely! I was on a hike with John once in the woods near Sedona when I came upon a baby owl lying on the ground on it's back, stunned. I stopped and ,probably against better judgement, knelt down next to it, made eye contact with it, talking softly. It didn't seem injured so I helped it tunr over onto it's stomach. It was so soft and warm. I think it fell out of the tree in it's sleep and was just in shock. I spoke softly to it, gently stroking it's back while my husband kept a distance. It turned its head and looked at me briefly, spread it's wings, gave a shriek and flapped off gracefully through the trees and across a creek to a low tree branch a few yards away. Where it was lying, there was one brown and white spotty feather. I kept it and have it still in a safe place with other special things and I think of that little owl with so much love and remember still how soft and warm it felt! My good deed for that day, at least I hope it was a good thing. LOL I love all our animal stories. Each brings it's own uniqueness to our lives. Love you all, Valarie
