A little note to ALL:

I've been researching " space " for the possibility of a seminar. I've never run

up against so many " blocks " before. The same people and centers who have opened

their doors to me for years are shutting them and turning me away in regards to

this Kundalini venue. I'm amazed by the " fear " and door shutting by

" Christ-based Centers " , " Yoga Centers " , " Spiritual Centers " , " Community

Centers " , " Holistic Healers " etc. It truly puzzles me. By all means I'm not

implying all, nor generalizing this " rejection " into particular groupings, but

rather referring to specifics.

Not to sound insensitive in my statement, but actually rather all

embracing...it's like being in the " K-closet " . There are so many paralles, of

discerning safe environments, telling/not telling, losing friends/family because

of self-disclosure, rejection, fear from others and community members, conflict

of moral/religious beliefs, having doors shut which before were opened...etc. I

think in this regard I can find myself being more compassionate and empathetic

to individuals and communities which undergo a fear-based discrimination and

shunning, rather that being based on disability, religion, gender, ethnicity,

and/or s@xual orientation, and/or all of the above.

At first my bubble burst and my excitement in the possibility was deflated, but

now I see it as an opportunity to educate and sprinkle the seeds of Kundalini

around the community. It's taken kindof an exciting twist now. It's this journey

and the discovery in which it brings that is educating and teaching me about

myself in relation to Kundalini, myself in relation to others, and myself within

and outside of a community and in relation to the greatness of ALL.

Should/when a place open(s) its doors to me/us/to Kundalini, it will truly be

with open arms and an open heart, and that is exciting!

Love:

Danielle
