Maryann- welcome. I don't believe I ever said welcome. It's so wonderful to have

you posting with the group. You certainly are not alone in what you are

experiencing. A wonderful resource of information is also archived and sits

right at your fingertips. If you go to this site you can click on

the files and links sections on the lefthand side to read many wonderful

articles, as well as listen to some of Chrism's talk-radio segments. Surf around

the site and older posts too...there is so much to savor along with the

watermelon!

Blessings and welcome.

Hi Maryann,

You landed in a great place to learn everything you can about the kundalini and

we are happy you are here. Many of us (myself included) feel alone with this

with the people around us and because they can't understand I for one keep it to

myself. It's great to know that all these sensations and experiences are normal

- maybe not for the people around us but very normal for those of us awakening.

Its nice to hear that other people feel sensations in their bodies and know

nothing is wrong physically. Its nice to know other people hear things or see

things or experience the emotional ups and downs...its all part of it. Somehow

it helps to let you know that you too will get through this as others here have.

Although it doesn't really end but you get used to it and actually look forward

to the feelings in your body and the bliss it brings.

The emotions can be hard as sometimes that inside of us gets brought to the

surface to be cleared. Sometimes its difficult getting used to new ways of

seeing reality that before were not evident.

But if you want to talk about what you're feeling or going through then others

can come forward and share similar things that they've gone through. That alone

helps you to know you are okay - everything is going as it should - all these

other people feel it too - so you are not alone in this. It's a nice feeling to

know that strangeness is normal. haha (:

The biggest lesson I've learned is to surrender. Surrender knowing that no

matter what a higher something - divinity - God - whatever you call it - is with

you and bringing this to you - so if you feel shaking or vibrations in the

middle of the night - if you can tell yourself this is normal and is a beautiful

gift - if you can learn to surrender to it right there - well bliss may infuse

your body...the easier you can surrender the easier it goes...this is coming

from someone that didn't know anything about this and did everything but

surrender...so for me I was happy to learn what it was I was suppose to do -

because surrender was not on my list of options...

Things become so much sweeter when you can surrender to this divinity that is

inside you.

So please whenever or if you ever feel like writing about some of the sensations

or things you are going through - it may help you then when others reply. It can

feel really scary and confusing when you don't consciously understand whats

happening. When you understand whats happening and what is " normal " or usual for

a kundalini awakening - and then what to do which is usually surrender (: - you

can relax into this easier - even if it takes time (took me quite some time ha)

- just knowing that so many many many people here have gone through and are

going through what you are too. Helps a lot and gives a peace of mind which then

makes it easier to surrender and know that this higher intelligence - this

divinity knows you better than you know yourself and to trust and know that you

are being taken care of ...

During the middle of the night is especially great to know now what I didn't

know then - surrender - but now that I know some strangeness is normal (: and

surrender - well the surrender brings beautiful bliss and indescribable beauty.

I didn't know that's all I had to do was surrender so I thought that may help

you. Its really great to especially if you are starting out - to move your body

(:

this helps the energy - I'm sure you read about the Tibetans in the

safties...but moving the body helps so you don't feel stiff joints.

The emotions can be really difficult I know. There have been some great posts

about how to release these and let it flow - no resisting anything ok? If you

need to cry or laugh uncontrollably - its all good - it will pass (may take

awhile in my case...) but its normal...

Hope something here helps - reading the older posts helps too - but sharing what

you're feeling or going through if you feel like it is great and if you don't

right now thats okay too - theres plenty of info on the site to read. (:

Seeing snakes, big black spiders, eyes, wolves, bears, any thing that crawls

along this earth probably (: is usually a kundalini sign - and to surrender even

if you can in your dreams is great! If you can't in your dreams don't be hard on

yourself - just when you wake up you'll now know its a kundalini sign - so if

you see yourself surrounded in snakes or feel like these things are out to get

you in your dreams...its normal and if you can surrender to it no matter what if

they are scaring you - it'll turn into beautiful body buzzes (: -

But no worries - if you can't you'll wake up and can feel great that these dream

visions are happening...because that means something so beautiful is happening

inside you! (:

It took me quite some time to surrender to such things in my dreams...I was

always running away from them! (: So don't be hard on yourself no matter what -

its all good - just be easy on yourself -

Seems like I always got another chance to surrender (:

You would have thought with me ... divinity would have given up long ago - here

in the west we are not always taught such things (:

or at least I missed that class probably just staring out the window ...

So Welcome and much love to you and know you are not alone (:

Debs (:

Hi Maryann and welcome our K family. No, you are not the only one, we all are

going through this K stuff. :) Believe it or not, it's a lot fun at times,

especially after arriving here and getting the kinks worked out. Hehe! Shakti is

really good at that and the Safeties recommend for you and all of us

works wonders. It is the biggest of blessings to be a part of this special

family of K people.

Blessings & love,

Linda

Hi Maryann

and welcome to the group. It's kind of a home away from home where you can talk

about your K experiences without having anyone look at you like you're crazy.

And as others have said, the safeties help a lot. Between practicing the

safeties and participating in this group, much can be ameliorated....

Love,

Yes this is a common occurrence and is a very powerful aspect of the Kundalini

experience. We tend to misspell the words like s & xual due to 's search

spiders mistakenly classifying our community as one of a " porn oriented " group

so we use the misspellings and encourage them when using words that are commonly

associated with porn or s & xual expression. It is not due to an immoral

interpretation or judgment or an unwillingness to discuss this very important

and appropriate aspect of the Kundalini experience. The Tantra group was created

for this purpose and I welcome you there! -
