Guest guest
I have know about the Illuminati for many years, but the last week I had an obsession to research them related to conspiracy theories that keep popping up. I'm sure many of this group have done the same. I walked away from my daily research feeling nausious. My mood was depressed and bitter. It brought me back to my rebellion against the Establishment that caused me years of hard times in my protests. Before going to bed last night I googledilluminati kundalini and was brought to the real and historic origin of the word illuminati. The roots were in Gnostic teachings and reiterated the Devine knowledge that is so intertwined in our group foundation and postings. I eased up on myself and quickly my life got back in spiritual balance. I became open to spirit and quickly got an e-mail showing me how I could make some useful contributions to handicapped children when I get back to New Jersey. The lesson was that even though the outside world is nuts, my internal/ eternal self is pritty great and always has a plan that voids the turbulence of the physical world. This is my freedom, and the group shows me on a daily basis how to return to my real place as the Prodigal Son did. Thanks and everybody. Guest guest
Jake, Thank you for posting this. I have had similar experiences with other (not so love-based) occult paths. I'm glad Shakti used it as a teaching for you and you were able to quickly disengage. Here is some of what I've learned from these experiences - perhaps this will help others. There are many energy networks out there. These include incarnate and disincarnate beings. They are a lot like computer networks - plug into one and you receive all the energetic traffic flowing through the network. It affects you. You feel their energy, emotions, and mind-states. If you stayed plugged in, then thoughts arise to correspond to and justify the mind-states. Some are love-based networks offering free choice, like KAS1. Some are not. Some entice us by offering power, the lure of " secret knowledge " , feeling chosen or special, etc., etc. The dark side of the force, so to speak. Some of them, you will have an immediate visceral response, e.g., nausea, feeling sick, headaches, etc. Those clearly don't mix well with your own energy. Others are more subtle and offer various things that may not seem so bad. Those are the harder ones to discern. To me this directly correlates to the media safety. What energy fields do I want to plug my awareness into? (Through reading, the web, music, who I associate with, etc., etc.) At every moment I have to choose what thoughts I want to entertain and what energy I want to experience. For me, the best discernment is inner stillness and seeing how the energy makes me feel, both physically and emotionally. Am I anxious? Suddenly filled with anger? Filled with an ardent desire to change the world? Did I read x and suddenly get a stabbing pain in my left shoulder? A sudden headache? Or, does this fill me with love-bliss? Love-bliss is my favorite - that's the one I like to pursue.... Love and blessings, David

Yor are absolutly right about the negative energy that is present when we research elsewhere on the net. Looking back, I realize that I had a severe headache when I was doing this. So nice that our group is so positive and really a home. Thanks for reminding me who I am, Jake
