Guest guest
The datura part is how a dark energy can enter into a persons process. The need for speed can be a detriment and a lesson. Datura can open doors that are not the positive in the case of the emerging Kundalini. Just an FYI. - blessings - chrism
Guest guest
Interesting, because this symbol has been reoccurring in a lot my dreams lately, and also has been in my waking life. I cultivate Brugmansia and Datura as a hobby. I was never sure exactly what the significance of the symbol in my dream was until now. It always seemed like a prevalent, background image. Beautiful but deceiving? In the dreams its never a very dominate symbol, it usually just shows up randomly, like I would be walking somewhere and glance to the side and happen to notice a large path of Datura or Brugmansia growing all along the side of the road or on someones lawn. So that would make a lot of sense, like a seemingly harmless, yet deadly " distraction " on the path. So a lot of this makes sense. Sometimes lately I have been feeling a little lost. I think I am usually in the moment, and in a loving, and positive state of mind. Occasionally if I stop and think I might start listening to the ego blabber on. I know there is a lot of things being resolved in the background right now. I know I am making progress. At the same time it has been feeling like I am almost in a " quarantine " like anytime I try to start something new it doesn't work out or I feel a pull like I need to wait. Same thing with people too, I sort of feel like I am in this " bubble " right now. I don't actively think about these things that much, I have been doing a very good job of keeping myself busy and physically occupied, but every once in a while it will come up. Even still I guess there is a very real temptation to " hurry up. " I should probably reexamine that and dissolve it. Guest guest
The full moon before last, I had ventured out to take some photographs, and stumbled across a clumping of Datura. It was prior to sunset and at the time their trumpet flowers were closed up tight into their star-fish formation. As the sun set and the full moon rose, I could hear a high pitched noise and " chattering " . There was a rustling in the leaves, which I thought were critters, but to my amazement, it was the Datura opening into their full trumpet flower right before my eyes. It was like time-elapsed photography. I was awestruck and giddy. Indeed it is a fascinating and unpredictable plant with it beautiful pinkish-white trumpet flowers that are intoxicating to one's sight and senses, and toxic/lethal to ones system. -Danielle , " astraltraveler1984 " <mjf84 wrote: I was never sure exactly what the significance of the symbol in my dream was until now. Guest guest
P.S. It's interesting how we've learned of the contract between the Rose and Datura today.
Guest guest
Datura in and of itself is a blessed plant. It is the intentions and use of Datura by those who try to rush the spiritual or Kundalini process using this plant that can bring often tragic results. No offense to the wonders and beauty of the Datura. And I am not making any statements or judgments about anyone having this gorgeous flower in their gardens either. - Just a clarification. - chrism , " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon wrote: > > P.S. Guest guest
I was just meaning... interesting that two flowers were discussed as I like hearing about herbology-plant uses and flower symbolism. I hope I comments didn't distract from the root of the discussion in this thread. -Danielle , " " <> wrote: > > Datura in and of itself is a blessed plant.
