questions on meditation

Hi and everyone..

 

1.I have problem while trying to do meditation in vizualisation. It's been a

concern while my ruminating state is never stopped during the stillness, and I

also have scepticism that I might just feeling my own suggestion, came from my

ego, not something that actually came from higher mind/consciousness with this

methods.. so I left this methods for awhile cause I dont know how to do it good.

I found out many people claims that they have etherical experiences during

meditation, meeting guides and spirits, spirit of the dead, angels, entities,

having out of body experience, astral projection, etc.. but as I ever know from

a friend's experience and also read that if one never been really achieve a

state of higher level of 'samadhi' where it's a higher state of consciousness,

we actually never going anywhere but only swimming arround in our own mental

body. So, we may think we're having OBE, meet Divine enitities or astral travel

but actually it's not.. Is this what actually happen?

 

2.Is it possible we're attracting lower vibration entities that may harm or

deceitfull, during this state of meditation. Since we have a friend that end up

in mental institution for scizophrenia while he start practising kundalini and

start to hear voices in his head. How this is possible?

 

3.On other occasion, incidently I did an automatic drawing that I was never

pre-arrange before, and while I have the experience I never knew what is it,

until years later. I was doing a contemplative state things I usually do for

everytime I do my creative work and at that time I have the urge to shut up my

ego mind and my imaginative suggestion, as I make it blank I start to move to

draw, to paint, and there I found series of symbols that I could not solve until

several years, what's they're about. Later I found out that It talks about

archetypes or universal symbols about Divine masculine feminine, symbols of the

sacrifised, the shamans-the mother earth, some gender neutral bodies, mandala,

the circle, the eye, some skulls/crystal skull, knowledge about the principle of

the micro and macro cosmos, something that at those years I was still very

limited in reference.. and a friend suggested that it show layers of selves of

mine. I found the process is so special. and all, I would like to know

your point of view, if this also could be said as a state of higher level of

consciousness achieved in meditative state, is this it?. Any thoughts are

appreciated. Thanks in advance.
